The Birdmen of Toscana Italy 1945
Location. Toscana Italy Date: 1945 Time: afternoon An Italian sailor onboard the
battleship Duilio that was anchored
at
the port, looked up from his post
on the ship’s bridge at something
that attracted his attention. From a
distance he saw what resembled a
formation of migrating birds flying
in a “V” formation. The sailor
reached for a pair of binoculars
and was treated to an unexpected
sight.
The “birds” turned out to be flying
humans endowed with powerful
wings,
heading toward the battleship
in a steady glide. Their faces were
entirely human, and the leader,
occupying the vertex of the “V”,
appeared to be engaged in
conversation with his companion to
his right.
The massive wings were
strangely motionless, and their
legs ended in
powerful, three toed
claws. Their bodies were entirely
covered in
feathers except for their
faces. The witness ran to obtain
additional
witnesses, but
when he returned the creatures had
predictably
disappeared.

- Thomas Chisholm, archaeologist
There are at least three ancient underwater pyramids off the Atlantic Coast of Florida which few people know exist. Multiple sources of information about the pyramids are available, but for simplicity most of the following information is from Bill Hanson’s book “The Atlantis Triangle.”
Hanson notes that the three pyramids are equally spaced – about 35 miles apart – on the west side of the Gulf Stream. To add to the mystery, three other underwater pyramids have been seen on the east side of the Gulf Stream. Those are 25 to 30 miles apart and located near Walker’s Cay, Great Sale Cay and the Berry Islands of the Bahamas. Typically, the underwater pyramids have been seen after violent storms have temporarily swept away some of the sand covering the ancient structures.

PYRAMID EAST OF JUPITER “Ed Wilson of Orange County is another Floridian who has observed an underwater pyramid,” writes Bill Hanson. “Piloting his own plane from Fort Lauderdale, he was leisurely flying north, following the Gulf Stream. Not far from the Jupiter Inlet, Wilson saw something large looming under the water. Circling the object, he observed a large pyramidal construction. Several yards away there were three smaller structures. Wilson, who once campaigned to become mayor of Orlando, viewed the constructions for several minutes. Unfortunately he didn’t have a camera to record his find.”
Wilson flew a 240 HP Continental like this.
The totse.com website provides additional information about Wilson’s find: “On June 7, 1948 Ed Wilson, while doing shallow bottom treasure hunting by air was smashed by an updraft that lifted him about 1,000 feet, 45 miles northeast of Miami while flying at 250 feet above sea level. When he brought his craft back to the normal position, he noticed a huge building (100 – 250 feet high) down in the ‘bright and silvery’ water. In his words:
I started to time myself of the leg out to get readings of the location when out of this blue clear day, another strange incident
occurred: all my magnetics had gone to zero. Then a strange hue
occurred all around me. At about 600 feet above water in the air that
bright crimson hue simply baffled me.
The 240 HP Continental began to be the most crazily running engine I have ever had the experience to feel. It became motionless no matter what I did with the throttle and pumps. It glided and floated smoothly for at least two miles. Then the engine simply started itself. I could not dive because I was already on top of the water. Then I realized that some force was pulling toward a westerly direction. . . After landing and getting inspection of Radio Communication and units, every last unit was blown, shorted out by some high frequency electronic shock, or mysterious high voltage in the air.”
PYRAMID EAST OF VERO BEACH
Alfred Conway is another treasure hunter who claimed to have seen an ancient underwater pyramid. He saw one off the coast of Vero Beach, Florida.
Unlike some treasure hunters, Conway had good credentials. According to Hanson, Conway was an associate of Mel Fisher whose team found the gold-laden Atocha treasure ship near Key West. He was a friend of Henry Link who designed the Link Trainer submersible. He also had close ties with staff members of the National Geographic Society.
One of the earliest reports of Conway’s pyramid was in the March 16, 1987 edition of The Orlando Sentinel. Later, Hanson provided this summary of Conway’s find:
“In the late 1980s, Alfred “Buster” Conway of Vero Beach discovered another underwater pyramid. During a conversation with Conway, he hinted the structure was only 11-12 miles directly off Vero Beach. Conway, a professional treasure hunter and an associate were flying low over the area looking for telltale signs of sunken Spanish galleons. . .
“Conway told me that a couple of days before he sighted the pyramid, there had been a fierce storm. He explained it is after such storms the outline of sunken ships might be seen from the air. It was late in the afternoon and the water was crystal clear when Conway and his pilot spotted a flat-topped pyramid on the ocean bottom. Conway has said there was no way they could have missed it. The structure almost glowed in the afternoon sunlight. Circling the structure several times, the two men agreed the base of the structure was about a thousand feet square.”
PYRAMID EAST OF MELBOURNE BEACH
“In the late 1980s, Phil and June Westoffer of Denver, Colorado discovered an underwater pyramid about 12 miles off the Florida coast,” says Hanson. “I became even more interested when I learned Mrs. Westoffer used a large screwdriver to pry a crystal sphere from the top of the structure. In two lengthy telephone interviews with the couple, I learned they discovered the pyramid several miles off Melbourne Beach, south of Cape Canaveral.”
Hanson explained that the couple no longer acknowledges they took the crystal sphere because of accusations of looting in Florida or federal waters. Florida waters extend three miles from the coast; federal waters extend 14 miles or 12 nautical miles.
The following are excerpts from Hanson’s interview with the Westoffers:
JUNE: “Phil and I had borrowed our friend’s boat and scuba gear. . . . The water was calm and we were slowly drifting north. I was in a rope seat, hanging about 30 feet below the surface, when I saw what looked like a big building below me. . . . I dove down quite a way and saw it looked like a stone pyramid.”
PHIL: “The top of the pyramid was at the 130 foot depth. I’d guess the thing was about 65 feet high. . . . the sides were smooth. I don’t know what the stone blocks were made of, maybe granite or marble. They were big, at least two feet square and three to four feet long. They were staggered, like the way bricks are laid. The building doesn’t look anything like the Egyptian pyramids. It was taller than it was wide, more like some kind of tower.”
JUNE: “We were surprised how perfectly clean it looked, almost no barnacles or algae on it.”
When I was living on Cocoa Beach in Florida in the mid 1980s, I met a couple who were serious scuba divers. As we talked at an ocean side eatery, they told me about their most exciting find - a pyramid protruding from the Atlantic Ocean floor. They said the top of it was sometimes visible when ocean storms whisked away some of the sand around it. At other times, they said the sand would shift and cover it up. They said the pyramid was located east of
Vero Beach, Florida.
This memory came back to me when the website Before It’s News posted a story on June 25, 2012 about a crystal pyramid on the ocean floor within the Bermuda Triangle. That inspired me to track down an out of print book by Charles Berlitz who may have been the first to write about a crystal pyramid near the Berry Islands of the Bahamas. By the way, Berlitz is known around the world for his books on travel, languages, ancient history and archaeology. It might be worth mentioning that he also served in the U.S. Army for 13 years, mostly in intelligence.

Images of pyramids can be
seen within the crystal ball Dr. Ray Brown says he
found inside an undersea pyramid
near the Berry Islands of the Bahamas.
In Berlitz’s 1984 book “Atlantis – The
Eighth Continent,” he includes the following about a
crystal pyramid within the Bermuda Triangle:A diving experience in Bahama waters, related by Dr. Ray Brown, a diver and lecturer of Mesa, Arizona, indicates how the sea bottom can change as a result of a violent storm. Within the Bermuda Triangle such a storm can sometimes uncover ruins for a short time only before they are buried again under the seafloor.
Dr. Brown, who was familiar with the Berry Islands of the Bahamas, where he had previously searched for Spanish treasure galleons, returned there in 1970. He detailed his experience in an interview with the author.
“When we returned to where we had been before, looking for the sunken galleons, a violent squall came up. We had to hang on to mangroves on the island, it was so violent. Six- to eight-foot waves broke over us and we lost most of our equipment.
“In the morning we saw that our compasses were spinning and our magnometers were not giving readings. We took off northeast from the island. It was murky but suddenly we could see outlines of buildings under the water. It seemed to be a large exposed area of an underwater city. We were five divers and we all jumped in and dove down, looking for anything we could find.
“As we swam on, the water became clearer. I was close to the bottom at 135 feet and was trying to keep up with the diver ahead of me. I turned to look toward the sun through the murky water and saw a pyramid shape shining like a mirror. About thirty-five to forty feet from the top was an opening. I was reluctant to go inside . . . but I swam in anyway. The opening was like a shaft debouching into an inner room. I saw something shining. It was a crystal, held by two metallic hands. I had on my gloves and I tried to loosen it. It became loose. As soon as I grabbed it I felt this was the time to get out and not come back.
I’m not the only person who has seen these ruins – others have seen them from the air and say they are five miles wide and more than that in length.”
Reports from the other divers who were with Dr. Brown at the time are unavailable since three of them have died or disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle while diving. Dr. Brown still has the crystal, which he sometimes shows to lecture audiences. Inside the round crystal can be seen a series of pyramidial forms. When one holds the crystal, a throbbing sensation is felt in the hand of the holder, whether by auto-suggestion or some quality inherent in the object.
Dr. Brown does not express an opinion as to the identity of the place that he visited except to say that it was an underwater pyramid surrounded by ruined buildings. He believes that the pyramid and the other buildings extended farther down under the seafloor, with only the upper portions visible.

ATLANTIC COUNTY, NEW JERSEY
Abducted
ATLANTIC COUNTY -- First, I never remembered seeing a UFO. I didn't even know I was being abducted until July 6, 2012, when I read some reviews of the book "Taken" and some red flags went up for me. My abductions usually begin at night but it has happened during the day. I am in bed and feel a presence in the room and feel like a heavy weight is on me. I can't move my body but can move my eyes and control my breathing. Then I fall asleep or at times it seems like nothing happened. I only remember bits and pieces like a dream, things like being in water but I can breathe. One afternoon, I remember lying face down and hearing someone say, "The device resides at the base of the spine". I felt a little tingle at the small of my back, no pain.On another night years later, a presence came into my room and said "You have no idea whats in store for you tonight" then it left. During the night I awoke to the worst pain on the left side of my face. The worst part about this is I know when this is going to happen before they come. But when I get in bed I don't care and it's ok to be taken. I know I do not want this to happen and I feel like a prisoner and know there is nothing I can do, and I must go. They have taken me since the 6th grade, I'm 30 now.
Being a psychic I thought it was a spirit or demon messing with me. I always felt I could handle whatever came my way. As a very small child I would follow "clear people" around the house.
This case is under investigation by Ken Pfeifer and Jack Nicholias of MUFON New Jersey. Thanks to MUFON CMS

FROM BRENT RAYNES

Christmas Eve abduction in Dekalb County, Tennessee?
By Brent Raynes
Woman wonders: Have they “succeeded breeding in emotion or soul?”
Following my one hour presentation on UFO close encounters at the December 5th MUFON UFO conference in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, I was approached by a very pleasant gentleman named Don Odum who told me that he was a resident of Lewisburg. My ears perked up and I asked him if he by chance had known a Stanley Ingram, a former resident of Lewisburg, formerly a columnist for the Pulaski Citizen and the author of Unidentified Flying Objects over the Tennessee Valley (1974). Though Stanley had shuffled off his mortal coil late in December 1982, Don knew precisely who I was talking about. Stanley’s weekly Moment of Truth newspaper column had chronicled many UFO reports that he had collected from local residents in Giles, Marshall, and Lincoln counties, as well as detailing his own UFO sky watching adventures going back to 1973, a year that the entire U.S. was gripped by a massive UFO wave.
Don was also familiar with others who had been connected with Stan and the local UFO scene here in Tennessee. One of these Stanley identified publicly only as GP (as GP preferred to stay out of the public limelight). We had met several times through Stanley back in the ‘70s. In fact, when Joan and I got married back in November 1977, we lived for a couple of months in an apartment in Pulaski, and I remember how Stanley and GP dropped by for a pleasant visit one day. Stanley was a talker, always a very friendly and outgoing southern gentleman whose only crime (if one wants to call it that) was becoming obsessed with these UFOs. GP, though always pleasant, was always rather quiet and reserved with us and others I’m sure, and obviously for good reason. We knew that he was a “contactee,” and truthfully, at the time, we didn’t know much more than that. But because he had seen what had happened to his friend Stanley for going so public with his evidence and beliefs about UFOs, GP knew that it was best to keep a very low profile and remain well in the background. Stanley Ingram had formerly been a highly respected citizen of Lewisburg. But as one magazine writer bluntly put it in his article after visiting Stanley and talking to area residents: “Finally not a few of the townspeople now consider Ingram, their former city judge and city manager, to be something of a village idiot.”
Harsh and unfair words for the gentle and caring columnist we had come to call a friend from our very first meeting in July 1975 until his passing in late December 1982.
At the risk of being branded a fellow “idiot” (something that I don’t actually fear, confident I’ll be in good company) it certainly seems that the game is still afoot, even after all of these years. I’m wondering if there is an upsurge in activity here in Tennessee again as Don forwarded this recent email on to me from GP’s daughter Jenny (who has had her own share of UFO and alien encounters going back to childhood), now living up in a rural area of DeKalb County, Tennessee. Her email read:
I think they are back, for what reason I do not know. Christmas Eve, as I was about to drop off to sleep, a small child with very white skin appeared in my doorway. She looked at me and said, mentally, ‘Come on Mama, we need you.’ I left the bed and entered the living room which then became a very bright light. Then I was in a large room about the size of a football field. This room was oblong in shape with shiny metallic walls and was filled to capacity with more of the strange looking children. Then I was in the center of the room. And all the children were taking turns just touching me, stroking my arm, or thigh. They were projecting thoughts of awe, gratitude, and love to me. Many were saying ‘thank you for allowing us to be here.’ They were very loving. I felt from them just overwhelming gratitude.
Strange such a show of emotion coming from them. Were they trying to show me they have succeeded in breeding in emotion or soul? And why show me all of "my children" now? Very strange. I woke later in my bed, very cold and tired.
Soon after receiving this email, Don and I ventured up to Dekalb County and visited GP and Jenny, and were brought up-to-date on all sorts of ongoing high-strangeness, everything from alien visitations, abductions, and Bigfoot encounters. GP even told us that he had encountered a Bigfoot while on board a UFO! We even got out and hiked a nearby hillside where Bigfoot had recently been reported on their property.
Don, a former Tennessee game warden, recalled how he had met GP back around the mid-1970s. At the time, farmers had been complaining that coyotes had been killing their livestock, so Don had agreed to help organize a group of men one night for the purpose of trying to protect these farms. The men, a lot of them hunting buddies, paired up and took up separate positions at different farms. That night GP was one of those volunteer hunters, he had showed up alone, and so he and Don paired up. As they sat in the dark that night, keeping some farmer’s livestock under surveillance, one of them tested the waters of conversation where UFOs was concerned. This is when they discovered that they shared a strong mutual interest in that subject. “We just struck it up and became real good friends from that point on,” Don said. Within a few days, GP introduced Don to Stanley Ingram, and from there things just continued to escalate and Don heard all sorts of local UFO stories and met various local people who had their own first-hand stories to share.
GP was one of those who had described some of the most extraordinary encounters. In fact, he claimed to have had face-to-face encounters with the occupants of those mysterious otherworldly craft. One night, around 1979 or 1980, GP and Don even shared a close encounter. “GP was riding with me one night while I was working,” Don recalled. “We were down in the south end of the county. I guess it was about 1:30 or 1:45 in the morning and we had started back to town. I was going to call it a night. As we were driving up this valley road I just kind of saw something that caught my attention out the windshield. My first instinct was that this was a big passenger plane. It was lit up pretty good. Then the next thing that dawned on me was that I could see the silhouette of the hill above these lights. Then the third thing that crossed my mind was that this thing was getting ready to crash because it’s not supposed to be that low.”
“So I just stopped the truck right in the middle of the road. It was a rural back road so there wasn’t any traffic. GP stepped out on his side of the truck and I stepped up on the side of mine and looked over the top of it. This thing came drifting beside us. Oh, I’d say less than a 100 yards away, and we counted 22 like porthole windows on the thing that were kind of opaque. We couldn’t see in them. They were dimly lit up and there was a T-Bar strobe on the top and the bottom, and it seemed to me there was like a white light and two red lights, or something like that on the top, and two blue lights and a red light on the bottom, which didn’t meet any of the configurations of an aircraft. It was probably not moving more than about 10 miles an hour. I mean, it was going real slow. We got to watch if for maybe 3 to 5 minutes. Then it kind of turned and banked and went up a hollow, another valley that didn’t have any road that went up through there. I looked at GP and he looked at me and I said ‘Hop in.’ I just spun the truck around in the middle of the road and drove about half a mile down the road and drove up on top of a big hill where we could see the lights of Fayetteville, Shelbyville, and Lewisburg. It was one of the tallest hills around. I was expecting to see this thing come out on the back side of that hill, but we never saw it again. I’d say it was at least 150 feet long, maybe even longer.”
“It was big and close and it never made a sound,” Don added. It had been a dark night, there was no moon in the sky, and so Don was unable to define a shape behind the lights. Later in asking GP about it, he recalled that he had been able to make out a silhouette behind the lights. “It was more of a circular shape,” he said. Then looking across the table at Don he stated, “The biggest one I had ever seen was when we were sitting up on the top of the hill south of Lewisburg and I looked back to the north, maybe it was to the northeast, and it came right across over the radio tower up on the hill. A big triangle shaped job, all lit up all the way around. That thing just floated. It wasn’t very high when it came across the top of us and there wasn’t a sound.”
Don joined in. “I remember there were blue lights on the tips of it.”
Make no mistake about it. GP and his family possess all of the outward signs of being very ordinary and very typical country people, but soon after sitting down at their kitchen table that Monday afternoon (01-18) and switching on my tape recorder, the direction of our conversations quickly took a totally unconventional spin. GP’s daughter, who is married with children and 43-years-old, recalled a life-time of strange experiences. “I’m standing in the baby bed and I’m screaming at the top of my lungs because I knew that something was coming to get me,” she recalled. “I can remember that it was alligator people that was going to get me. That was my first memory that something is not right here.”
“The next memory I have I am about 7 years old. We’re still living in the same house. I heard what sounded like footsteps. I opened my eyes and looking down at me was a small child. "I remember the eyes were solid dark eyes. No white and they were shiny. They were big and I remember that it had short reddish colored hair. And I remember an overwhelming sense of fear. I instantly rolled over and faced the wall and I laid there and shivered and shook for what I thought was all night long, but it probably wasn’t long at all.”
The third memory was around the time she was turning eight. “I remember sitting straight up in bed and screaming,” Jenny said. “Then daddy came running to me. What I was screaming at was what was coming through the window. It was the traditional Gray and it was coming physically through a window that was two panes of glass covered in plastic, with the strips around the plastic, yet it didn’t break the glass or tear the plastic. And as daddy entered the room it backed through the window and he picked me up and held me most of the night. It terrified me that bad. From then on I had night terrors. I was in my thirties before I even had a full night’s sleep, and that was only because I had a hysterectomy. Right after that hysterectomy, for the first time in my life, I slept all night long without fear.”
The Reproduction Program?
GP seemed sure that like himself, his daughter had also been part of “their reproduction program.” He said, “I don’t understand what their reproduction program was all about, but I knew that we wouldn’t treat a bull or a studhorse the way that I was treated. I mean, I was used and abused there for about three years. I don’t really know if all of the females were theirs or some more that they were picking up down here. 'There were some beautiful women. See that’s one thing that David’s (another area contactee) wife got so upset about and most women would be. Not that you have a whole hell of a lot of control over it.”
I asked GP how clear his memories of these encounters had been. “Oh they were clear,” he said. He explained that with his initial encounter he didn’t recall anything, and then one day the memory came back to him. “After that the whole relationship was friendlier,” GP explained. “Them towards me and me towards them, because I could accept something like that without going stir crazy or something. I have never been afraid of a whole lot in my life.”
UFOs and Bigfoot?
“That’s just like the night that they introduced me to the Yeti. They said he won’t hurt ya and I walked off in there with him, and he was a big ‘ol boy. I mean, that sucker was 12 to 14 foot tall, and he didn’t smell too good. He looked at me, watched me, and I walked around him and I went on back out and there was no aggression.” One ufonaut told GP afterwards that their confined Bigfoot worked for them. The being said words to this effect: “We bring them here to help us, for our use to do things for us.”
Jenny added, “As far as there being any connection between the Yeti and UFOs, I firmly believe that. I always thought that. When I was about 15, I remember laying in bed. I’m looking up at the ceiling and I closed my eyes to go to sleep and the next thing I know I’m floating up through the ceiling. I got up there and I’m in the air and I’m looking around like ‘Hey man, I’m above the house. This is neat!’ And I look around over this way, I don’t know why, and at the time there’s this huge old Cherry tree. From the side of that tree I saw something standing beside it. I can tell it’s really big and it steps away from the tree and I can see it, and I’m thinking to myself, ‘Hey, I’m going to go see this thing. I can see it, but it can’t see me!’ You know, typical kid. Instantly I float over there to it and when I get to it it just looks at me and it turns to walk away. So I was just thinking that it couldn’t see me.”
I asked GP about “astral projection” and he said, “I’ve done a lot of that. I’ve been doing that for years. I haven’t lately.” So perhaps it’s a family thing, an inherited ability or awareness. GP and Jenny often see ghosts too. GP has a ghost in his house I learned. Jenny mentioned seeing “the old man who lived here,” to which her dad said: “I’ve seen him about every night. I’ll be sitting here watching television and I’ll see him. He died here. That’s part of it.”
“I have noticed that there’s definitely a direct connection between the Bigfoot creatures and the lights,” Jenny continued. “The activity around here will increase with the Yeti and then you’ll start seeing a lot more activity in the sky. Like one night we woke up, we heard the strangest hum, a constant low pitched hum. It woke me up and I went ‘Something is up.’ So we got up and we looked out our bedroom window and I looked over at (neighbors) house, which she’s right down below us, and there was this huge saucer shape. It was as big as the top of this house, hovering right over the top of that house. The lights were going on around it, just changing colors all around the bottom. We stood there and watched it for ten minutes.”
Apparently that incident happened back around February 2009. Jenny remembered seeing the Bigfoot just a few months before, maybe November 2008. She was returning home with her family and their car had just crossed an “old rickety bridge” when she noticed it. “Down away from the bridge, on the right hand side, there was the biggest, prettiest Yeti standing there that you’ve ever seen. Just standing there like ‘Hey, here I am!” As soon as we got home, I told the boys ‘Don’t unload the car. Let’s go in the house because it’s coming right down that creek.’ It was following the creek which goes right in front of my house. It wasn’t five minutes and there was this God awful smell, worse than a skunk.”
Jenny’s 17-year-old son has seen Bigfoot too. Just last August, in 2009, he was riding his 4 wheeler not far up the road. “He’s sitting on the pull off and he hears limbs and stuff breaking and he just sort of looks around and when he looks around he sees it jump down, but not far enough. He still hit his head on the underside of a branch.” [We drove by that tree later, and that limb was very high up] Jenny also said that the Bigfoot tried to hide behind this same tree, which was about four feet around, and still the young man was able to see part of each of its shoulders on each side of the tree. That evening, Jenny and her husband went up and found two large footprints sunken very deep into the ground there. She took pictures of them.
Then probably in November 2009, this same young man got up into a deer stand at the bottom of the hill near his home, to do some hunting, when up near the top of the hill (near GP’s deer stand) he saw a Bigfoot. “He [Bigfoot] just kind of squatted down behind a little cedar and some bushes there,” GP stated. “He could still see it. Sat there and looked at him for a pretty good while. Then it stood up and looked back at him again and turned and walked off. He was scared to death when he got back to the house.”
Hair and Tissue Samples, and Unmarked Helicopters
They believe that they may have gotten some hair and tissue samples of a Bigfoot. Not too long ago, Jenny said that they had gone outside to feed the chickens and found that a nearby fence was down. “Something had hit it with such force that it pulled four strands of barbwire away from three posts and a cedar tree. Pulled the staples loose and stretched it when it hit it. It didn’t break the wire, it just stretched it and pulled the staples loose and all of the staples out to where it was sagging down on the ground. I looked down and there were two different areas where hair had gotten caught. One is the sample that I showed you and the other is another barb. I actually took pliers and cut the barb out because it had a little bit of flesh and it had another and different hair on it. So me and (husband) just cut that barb out and then later we fixed the fence. But I plan to have it sent off to have a DNA check. But here’s the kicker. I was on the phone talking to Mary Green, who is known as the Tennessee Bigfoot Lady. I hadn’t been off the phone five minutes when black unmarked helicopters come over my house and they go straight back to the pond area and they went around in a little circuit back there, and I’m like, ‘Okay, I’ve been on the phone with Mary for 30 minutes, 45 at the most, get off the phone with her and in less than 5 minutes I’ve got unmarked, black government helicopters flying over this pond with spotlights. What does that tell you? That’s the main reason I haven’t sent the hair off.”
I asked about the spotlights and she said that they were red, believing that they were “infrared.” She added that there were three helicopters.
“One night right after that happened we were talking,” GP added. “Yes, and they come over again,” Jenny replied. “And they were sitting over the top of this house.” Jenny said that she could identify the helicopters as Apaches.
Jenny believes she’s had a lot of UFO encounters where her “memories are blocked.” One time, back around 1987, she was driving to meet her parents for dinner. As she was crossing a bridge one moment it was early evening, the sun was still out, and then the next thing she knew it was dark! When she arrived at her parent’s, they were hysterical. She recalled them saying words to the effect, “Where have you been!? We’ve been worried out of our minds!” Soon afterwards, she called Don and told him what had happened. Don has been doing regressive hypnosis for years, so they decided to try hypnosis. Under hypnosis she indeed recalled an abduction. “A huge being helped me out of the car,” she remembered. “He was a man who looked just like any one of you guys. Tall, very slender, had white hair and the most beautiful blue eyes I’ve ever seen, and a beautiful smile. I couldn’t really tell his age. He was an elder, but yet I could really guess about his age. He took my hand and he took me out of the car and then instantly I’m in another room. "He said to me, ‘We’re not sure, at this time, whether you’re going to decide to stay or go. Whichever your decision may be, we’d like to take DNA to continue your strain.’ I gave them permission to take one DNA and it was about three months after this abduction that I had a head-on collision and spent two weeks in a coma and broke about everything in my body. I was in really bad shape. So I’m sure that was what they were talking about. ‘We’re not sure whether your soul is going to decide to stay or go.’ Because I had a choice then, whether I was going to die or come back.”

EGG HARBOR, USA
AUGUST 22, 1976, EGG HARBOR, USA, DEAN ANDERSON:
Brief summary of the event and follow-up:
Dean Anderson was a greenskeeper at Peninsula State Park, from Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, USA, who claimed several detailed close encounters beginning in November 1973 when he saw a craft touch down near Peninsula Corners, which left burn marks on the road.In 1975, he saw a second craft flying low over the golf course. He said that it had a "bright, gray shiny metallic finish, a beautiful gold glistening band around the center, and flashed red and green lights," and that he recognized it right away: "I knew it had to be a laboratory."
In 1976 he claimed he saw at least four spaceships on or near the golf course where he worked early each morning, often before the sun came up, using a big mower equipped with headlights.
On July 11, 1976 at 03:30 a.m. he was cutting grass at the golf under a full moon when he spotted two round discs "coming off the moon" side by side. One flew off; the other dropped down and landed 200 yards away on the practice fairway.
He told that "A ladder appeared at the side and three figures", 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and very agile, looking "like normal men," "ran quickly down the ladder. I heard pounding coming from under the ship... and then I saw them run back up the ladder."
After the ladder was hauled back in and the craft took off, he noticed landing traces of the Adamski-spaceship-type: three landing balls or spheres from the spaceship that left depressions 2 feet deep and 15 inches wide, 20 feet apart. He said he took photographs of these indentations, which he said lasted most of the summer.
A few days later, he was mowing on the upper part of the golf course when he "saw this large orange craft" coming toward him, he "stopped the mower and got off when it shot a beam over me. I couldn't figure out why, but I did know the beam made me numb. Then I realized it wasn't intended for me but was beamed at a smaller craft that I always see over Ephraim. I happened to be in the way." The craft continued on its course without stopping, but Anderson claimed that he experienced numbness in his legs, feet and hands that lasted 24 hours.
On August 16, 1976, Anderson was cutting grass at 04:00 a.m. when he noticed a "craft coming in over Ephraim," and shortly thereafter his mower beam "picked up a figure over on the number three green." He gave chase with his mower and got close enough to see that the figure was 7 feet tall and dressed in "a shiny gold one-piece suit with a black helmet." An antenna on the helmet flashed bright red. When he got to within 10 feet of the figure, a beam shot out and struck the mower. "That mower stopped just as if I had hit a tree." The figure looked back twice and then was taken into a little spacecraft glowing bright blue, red, and orange.
On August 23, 1976, he was out mowing at 04:15 a.m. and "saw this large orange craft drop down into a culvert behind Shore Road between the 11 fairway and 17 green." His mower's lights picked up two beings that floated out a door to the ground on a "band of light," and the craft then took off. The figures carried "long candle-shaped flashlights which were about 3 inches around and capable of beaming light the width of a car light."
The figures were like humans, approached, extended their hands, shook hands with Anderson, and the male said in English, "I am Sunar, I come from Jupiter. This is Treena. She comes from Saturn." Anderson told that both wore elaborate, colorful space suits. The man had a copper-like skin and "an ordinary voice..." and "if I had to compare it with anyone's I'd say it sounded like Andy William's."
Treena had "light tan" skin, shoulder-length hair, bluish-gray eyes, and "closely resembled Elizabeth Taylor in her youth." She took off her space suit and appeared in a close fitting light green one-piece suit; the top was of "some glistening metallic material," but the pants were dull. She wore slippers.
Anderson estimated her age as late 20s or early 30s but to his amazement they said Treena was 100 years old and Sunar was over 200.
Anderson is chairman of the local Baha'i chapter, and probably this explains why he has Sunar claim to have once met the Baha'u'llah, who founded the Baha'i religion. Sunar explained that their visit was a scientific expedition to gather samples of "soil, water, leaves, insects, small mammals, fish, small plants, and the like" that would be taken back to Saturn for analysis. He told Anderson the man he'd chased the previous week was Muton, from Mars, whose mission "entails observing different people and monitoring gatherings of people." During the 20 or so minutes Anderson conversed with his visitors, he discovered that he was one of the people being observed, apparently because he was chairman of the local Baha'i group. "You are like us and do things much as we do," Sunar said.
Anderson was told that the man he had chased on the previous encounter was Muton, from Mars.
Before departing, Treena put on her spacesuit again and gave Anderson an envelope, saying, "Take this gift in peace in remembrance of our meeting. We shall meet again." She asked him not to open it for five days. Their spacecraft then landed, and they stepped into a beam of light that carried them inside, and the spaceship took off and went.
After some days, Anderson opened the envelope which contained a gold-colored "amulet" with a dovelike bird on one side and the words "Peace and friendship forever, Treena and Sunar" on the other side, with depictions of Saturn and Jupiter besides the names.
Initially, Anderson told all these adventures only to friends and colleagues and people at the golf green. But a local journalist finally interviewed him and published the interview in the local newspaper. Anderson had kept precise records of his encounters and referred to the notes when he recounted his sightings to the journalist.
When the journalist asked Anderson why he waited so long to report his experiences, he said it was because he knew he would be ridiculed. She warned him that as a result of the article, he could become the laughing stock of the county, but he insisted, "I'm strong enough to take whatever is handed out."
Steebs' article caused a sensation, and the park office received so many calls asking about the story, that they asked him to stop talking about it. His wife Barbara issued a statement on the front page of the newspaper asserting the truth of the information in the interview: it "was not a hoax, a publicity story for any purpose, or an April Fool Joke." Apparently plenty of people took her at her word, because in a subsequent column, the journalist wrote, "What surprises me most about Dean Anderson's interplanetary visitation is that so many upstanding citizens have told me they believe it."
In recalling those days, one co-worker said Anderson so enjoyed discussing his adventures that he would look for opportunities to bring them up. When he began a conversation with, "I met my friends today," it was a cue for someone to bring up the subject.
His co-workers were remarkably gentle, one said: "I don't think anyone teased him. We didn't really believe in it, but we didn't disregard it either, because we just didn't know."
The Park Superintendent at the time, Ralf Halvorsen, took it all with good grace, and his wife remembered he received a note from Anderson saying he was being picked up by a space craft and was not sure when he would be back. Halvorsen left a note of his own, he asked to be alerted before take-off because he would like to see it.
In 2004, local authors wrote an article on the flying saucers in Door County, and thus indicated that Anderson had long retired from the park's work force and was now in ill-health and declined to be interviewed by the Barnes. His wife said that he would not be safe for him to talk because "he's under surveillance by the FBI," and his "guardian angel" would have to give approval for the interview and is "very touchy." She said that her husband saw Sunar and Treena again, and that he boarded their spaceship 7 times.
Narratives:
ROBERT E. BARTHOLOMEW ANDGEORGE S. HOWARD:
The authors indicate that on August 22, 1976, at 04:15 a.m. in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, USA, Dean Anderson was using a riding lawn mower on a golf course. He stopped after seeing a big orange object land nearby.
Two beings floated out a door on a "band of light," they approached while the object left.
They extended their hands, shook hands with Anderson, and the male said, "We come in peace. I am Sunar, from Jupiter. This is Treena; she comes from Saturn." They said they were on a scientific specimen-gathering mission.
Treena had shoulder-length hair, bluish-gray eyes, a light tan, stood 5 feet 2 inches tall and resembled Elizabeth Taylor. She wore a one-piece, skin-tight light green suit of a "glistening metallic material."
Sunar had copper-like skin. Sunar claimed to be over 200 years old and to have once met the Baha'u'llah, who founded the Baha'i religion, the authors specify that "(Anderson is chairman of the local Baha'i chapter)."
After a 20 minutes talk, Anderson was given an envelope and asked not to open it for five Earth days, then the extraterrestrials left. Anderson opened the envelope which contained a golden" amulet" with a dovelike bird on one side and the words "Peace and friendship forever, Treena and Sunar" on the other side, with depictions of Saturn and Jupiter besides the names.
Anderson did not allow the amulet to be photographed.
The authors indicate that the source is an article by Keta Steebs in The Advocate, of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, for March 31, 1977.
ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that at Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, on July 11, 1976, at 03:30 a.m., Dean Anderson was cutting grass on a golf course under the bright full moon when he noticed two round discs "coming off the moon" side by side. One flew off; the other dropped down and landed 200 yards away.
A ladder appeared at the side and three figures ran quickly down it, after which Anderson, heard "pounding coming from under the ship, toward the back." A few minutes later, the figures ran back up the ladder, which was hauled back in.
The men were 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and very agile.
Three landing balls or spheres on the UFO left depressions 2 feet deep and 15 inches wide, 20 feet apart. The witness took photographs of these indentations.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Keta Steebs, of the Sturgeon Bay Advocate.
Albert Rosales indicates in another entry of his catalogue that at Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, on August 23, 1976, at 04:30 a.m., Dean Anderson was cutting grass on a golf course when he saw a large orange craft drop down into a culvert behind the road.
He stopped his mower. Two figures emerged from a door in the craft and floated down to the ground on a "band of light." The craft then took off.
Both figures carried flashlights 3 feet long. They came up to the witness and the man extended his hand, which the witness shook.
He said, "We come in peace. I am Sunar from Jupiter. This is Treena; she comes from Saturn." The witness shook Treena's hand while Sunar explained that they were here on a scientific mission, gathering specimens. Treena took off her space suit and appeared in a close fitting light green one-piece suit; the top was of "some glistening metallic material," but the pants were dull. She wore slippers. Her skin was light tan, her eyes blue gray, and she had shoulder length hair. She was 5'2" tall.
Sunar did most of the talking; he had copper colored skin, and said he was over 200 years old. The witness was told that the man he had chased on the previous encounter was Muton, from Mars, and that Sunar had once met Baha'u'llah, the founder of the Baha'i religion.
After about 20 minutes of conversation, Treena put her space suit back on and gave Anderson an envelope of yellow nylon cloth, which she asked him not to open for 9 Earth days. The spacecraft came in and the two Ufonauts ascended to it on a beam of light. The craft was "30 ft wide at the bottom and 60 ft high."
As soon as the light allowed, the witness photographed the footprints of Treena and Sunar in the dirt. Later upon opening the envelope, the witness found a gold colored engraved amulet inside.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Keta Steebs, of the Sturgeon Bay Advocate.
PAUL AND FRANCES BURTON:
Paul and Frances Barnes wrote an article about the history of UFO related events and tales in Door County, Wisconsin. They provide appreciable information on the stories of Dean Anderson.
They indicate that Anderson was a greenskeeper at Peninsula State Park who claimed six detailed close encounters beginning in November 1973 when he saw a craft touch down near Peninsula Corners, which left burn marks on the road.
In 1975, he saw a second craft flying low over the golf course. He said that it had a "bright, gray shiny metallic finish, a beautiful gold glistening band around the center, and flashed red and green lights," and that he recognized it right away: "I knew it had to be a laboratory."

I heard pounding coming from under the ship... and then I saw them run back up the ladder." After the craft took off, he noticed bent grass and indentations in the fairway, which he said lasted most of the summer.
Five days later Anderson opened his gift, which was a small, inscribed, gold-colored amulet, that he proudly showed it to Steebs, but would not allow her to photograph it.
Until Steebs' article was published, only people around him knew of his claims, as he liked to tell others at the golf course about them. In recalling those days, one co-worker said Anderson so enjoyed discussing his adventures that he would look for opportunities to bring them up. When he began a conversation with, "I met my friends today," it was a cue for someone to bring up the subject.

Flying saucer mania in Door County gradually died out after 1977, but satisfactory explanations for some of the sightings are hard to come by - the authors discuss some of it.
The authors mention newspaper sources for their article and a phone conversation with Keta Steebs, March, 2004.

THE HUMANOIDS OF VRAVRONA GREECE 2001
Date: end of August 2001
Time: around 21-22:00
Place: Hamolia area, near Vravrona, Attica, Greece.
Witnesses: 3 (Mr I.B, Mr D.K and D.V), all of them seasonal firemen.
The witnesses were working in the night shift on a small observation point, on the top of a small hill, with good view over South Evoikos Gulf and the area of Perati (Vravrona). Practically they were doing that every night during the summer season to guard for forest fires.
On the top of hill there is a small kiosk and an old abandoned helicodrome with a tattered landing platform made of concrete. The witnesses were sitting in the kiosk having parked their vehicle next to it.
Suddenly, a disk-shaped light-colored flying object was seen coming towards them, flying low and soundless over the sea, from NE direction. Their mobile phones, radio and the vehicle’s CB ceased to function (after the incident the batteries of the portable radio were empty, event though I.B. remembers well that they were brand new). The CB, which is always buzzing with voices or static every now and then, was silent during the incident.
When the UFO approached them, it was emitting a light sound, like “a small electrical motor”, as I.M. described afterwards. This sound was not heard after the UFO landed (see below) or during the rest of the incident.
The UFO approached and landed softly on the old concrete platform, about 15 m away from the kiosk where the witnesses were sitting. It was shaped “two plates stuck together on their lids”, was about 3 m in diameter and seemed to have a whitish or metallic color (it was dark). It seemed to land on its “belly” and not on landing legs or any other system –nevertheless from the kiosk the landed UFO was partly hidden by small bushes. Also its surface was smooth with no protuberances, antennas or any other characteristic. When landed, its top was about 1 - 1.10 m high from the ground.
The reaction of the witnesses was astonishment and fear. The main reaction was the question “what to do now?”. I.M. said that he felt strange because he was witnessing something that he had read about it and seen on TV. As he said, he was amazed to see a UFO that was “so much smaller than the classical UFOs”.
After a while a door opened on the side of the UFO “like the door in some airplanes which is also used as a ladder”. The opened door formed a ramp leading to the ground. Inside the opening there a dim light was observed.
After that, three small occupants emerged from the inside one after the other. They were humanoids, 80-90 cm tall, with normal bodies and limbs, resembling “small kids”. The beings were wearing tight-fitting and seemingly metallic uniforms or suits, like the ones used in scuba diving, ending in a “hood” that was covering the head but not the face. The witnesses could not see their faces in the dark, but seemingly the humanoids were not wearing a visor, or faceplate or something similar. Also they could not see any details in their legs or arms.
The three humanoids went down the ramp and proceeded one after the other, for about 5-7 m until they reached the end of the flat area on the top of the hill. They seemed to walk “properly” although a little bit faster than the normal. Then they seemed to descend a small path between the bushes, a path that leads to the seaside, some dozens of meters below and vanished from view. The opening on the side of the UFO remained open.
The three overwhelmed witnesses started discussing what should they do next. D.K. started walking to the UFO but after making a few steps, he came back saying “something had kept him away”. I.M. told me that actually D.K. was afraid and he said that as an excuse.
After 10 minutes or less, the creatures appeared again at the same point where they disappeared, seemingly having ascended the hill. The three humanoids proceeded again walking one after the other and entered the UFO. The door closed and the UFO took off softly and noiselessly. It gained height and flew southwards until it vanished from view.
The witnesses searched afterwards the site of the landing and in the bushes for any traces but could find none. They decided not to report their experience to the fire-brigade headquarters in order to avoid being ridiculed.
Two or three days later, the three witnesses were again in the night shift on the same spot, around 23:00 when they say a huge disk-shaped UFO, around 30 m in diameter which approached them from NW flying slowly. The UFO was again emitting a sound like “small electrical motor”. It had whitish-metallic color and passed overhead in a height of about 100-200 m. There were again problems with the function of their mobile phones and radios. It must have reached a maximum height of 260 m until it disappeared, judging by the nearby small mountain of Perati (308 m).
The nearby hill of Perati has a long history of strange phenomena, UFO reports and apparition sightings. We must also note the existence of the Artemis (Diana) ancient temple quite near the area.

An annual festival took place in the precincts of the shrine where the young white man used to take a walk holding the boy, Warabe Amanaka, aged 5. The five-year old boy went out with his family to enjoy the festival, wearing a yukata (informal Japanese summer kimono) and putting on geta (Japanese wooden clogs). After the ceremony ended in a lively way at nine o’clock at night, Warabe returned home and went to bed.
The wonderful flying machine flew again and
arrived in Giza this time. Through a window Warabe saw the great
pyramids and the sphinx in the setting sun. He must have looked at
them front ways because the saucer landed on a small hill located far
ahead of the sphinx.

While he was lying in bed not quite
falling asleep, he felt again someone calling him gently, “Come
out, my boy!” No sooner had he heard the voice in his mind than he
woke up and cheerfully went out in his yukata. The man was standing
there with a smile as usual.
“Uncle” (as Warabe called the stranger) was about 200 centimeters tall with hair cut short like that of a young girl. His complexion was white like a Caucasian, having clear-cut features and large eyes. In addition, his skin was so smooth that the boy found no traces of a mustache or beard. “Uncle” was wearing the usual long white dress and white shoes. He said, “Come along with me, my boy.” Warabe answered with real delight, “All right,” and walked with him at ease. They walked continuously passing by the shrine and the graves until they came to a large field. Surprisingly enough, there was a large round object showing its dim outline in the darkness. It was about 40 meters across, but the boy could not see any additional detail. “Uncle” took the boy into the large object through a door. When entering, Warabe found that there were five men waiting for them. They were also tall and wore their hair bobbed similar to that of “Uncle” except for one man.

When entering, Warabe found that there were five men waiting for them. They were also tall and wore their hair bobbed similar to that of “Uncle” except for one man.
This man was rather short, wearing a ski-type
overall of light brown color with a wide waist belt and brown shoes.
His long blond hair hung about his shoulders. In addition to being
good-looking, his complexion was much like a Japanese. At first
Warabe thought he was a woman, but later he knew that the person was
a man. All the crew was very friendly and kind and received the
little boy warmly. They were ordinary persons without any
eccentricity, so Warabe could make himself at home there. The crew
except for one wore a kind of poncho-style long white dress having no
sleeves. Here the boy was also changed into a small poncho-style
dress designed for a child, and was given white sandals. “Uncle”
changed his clothes especially for the unearthly flight, too. Then he
seated the boy in an armchair and helped to fasten the boy’s seat
belt. After having made preparations for a journey, the boy’s
friend said, “We are going to take you wherever you want to go.”
This offer delighted the boy, so he answered without hesitation, “I
want to see elephants and whales!”
“All right, we will go to
where the elephants and whales are.” “Uncle” was quite ready to
comply with his request. The object was one of those so-called flying
saucers. It took off noiselessly and began to fly into the dark sky.
On the wall were large elliptical windows. The round floor was large
and over 15 meters in diameter. The illumination was too weak to show
the detail of the room. In the middle of the round floor was a huge,
white translucent globe which was 2 meters across. The color tone of
the interior including the floor, wall and ceiling was all in a
general color scheme of milk white.
After flying for a while,
Warabe was surprised to see the sun rising above the horizon again.
He supposes now that this was because the vehicle was flying at a
very high altitude. In the meantime, the boy saw the sea below, and
they flew for more than an hour when “Uncle” finally said, “Boy,
some whales are swimming. Look down at them!”
The young man held
Warabe and walked to the nearest window to watch the whales swimming
and spouting water. However, since the flying saucer was at a high
altitude at the time, the whales were dwarfed. So the little boy
complained, “I thought whales were very big, but now they are
rather small. I want to see big ones.”
“Uncle” agreed to the
boy’s proposal, “Ok, we are going down a little more.” The
saucer descended very close to the surface of the sea and hovered.
Warabe cried in excitement, “Wow! How big they are! Great!” The
boy was truly excited with the enormous creatures he had never seen
before. “Uncle” watched them pleasantly with a smile.
Then the
saucer began to fly again past the ocean for a long period. This time
they flew further and further over the vast desert until they finally
reached the place where elephants were to be seen. Warabe is of the
opinion that they had come all the way over to Africa. Looking down
at the grassy plain, the boy noticed that a crowd of elephants were
stomping about, raising a cloud of dust. But they were also dwarfed
by the high altitude. Again Warabe was not satisfied with the sight
and said, “Uncle, I want to see bigger elephants!”
The young
man answered, “All right, we are going down a little more.” The
saucer descended slowly and finally landed on the plain! With joyous
wonder Warabe watched these gigantic animals walking and swinging
their large ears and long trumps. He was very much moved by the
scene, since it was the first time he had seen real elephants. Some
of them seemed to have become aware of the huge saucer and looked at
it. During the long flight, “Uncle” served juice one in a while,
which tasted sweet and a little cold. On one occasion, one of the
crew who looked like a woman gave Warabe a cup of juice, saying,
“Hai, kore” (Here you are). He spoke standard Japanese, and was
very tenderhearted.
( A few years ago Warabe Amanaka visited Giza with
his wife and confirmed the place where the saucer once landed. The
hill, which was 40 or 50 meters high, was just as it was.)
It was just
before five o’clock next morning when they returned to the point of
departure in the suburb of Matsuyama. Warabe noticed it because he
found that the clock showed five a.m. when he got home. Just before
leaving the marvelous vehicle, the crew stood in a row. Then “Uncle”
took a step forward, saying in behalf of them, “My boy your father
is Abraham. You are Abraham’s son. You must bear it well in your
mind.”
Warabe did not know the name “Abraham” at the time,
but repeated the name in order not to forget it. The little boy left
the saucer for his home hand in hand with “Uncle”, but both said
nothing at all on the way. “Uncle” disappeared when they got to
the house. The whole neighborhood had been in great confusion because
the boy had been missing from his house for the night. The villagers
conducted a search for the boy all through the night in vain.
Therefore, his family was very surprised to see him again. His father
was furious at his abrupt appearance and cried, “Where have you
been?”
Warabe talked about his fantastic experience---that he saw
whales in the sea as well as elephants and pyramids from flying in a
large round object at night. But they did not believe in his story at
all. In addition to disbelief, they laughed at him and scorned him,
saying that he was talking nonsense. He was then branded by the
villagers as a big liar and or just a sleep-walker.
