A BELIEVER
Sent out by CAUS
When I was five years old and living in a coal mining camp in West Virginia I saw a spaceship and ran home to tell everyone about it. I don't have to tell you what he reaction was and from that day to this I've felt alone and like I didn't fit in. It would be revealed later in life that I was taken on that day of my first conscious sighting.
When I was twenty-one I had just come back to the states from a tour of duty in Vietnam with the 4th Infantry Division in 1967. I was assigned to Co. A 41st Infantry C.D.E.C. or Combat Developments (Experimental) Command based at Ft. Ord, CA. On Monday morning we would be bussed about 80 miles out in the Mojave Desert to another installation called "Hunter Ligget Military Reservation." We did all of our so-called experiments at night and slept in the mornings and had work details n the afternoons. We did very important things like rake rocks! If you had duty on the weekends you would stay there and the rest had weekend passes and would return to Ord.
One night in late October of 1967 myself and three other soldiers were on guard duty and had met in a predetermined place to see how we were going to switch areas so we didn't have to look at the same things all night long. That's when I noticed a dim light moving from left to right and said "Hey, you guys look at that... what the hell is that?" The object then got bigger and brighter and started leaving off an orange fluorescing trail and five smaller ships dropped out of the bottom and formed a V formation and headed right straight for us. At that time I checked a nearby clock and it was two or three minutes before 11 pm. When I turned around they were almost on top of us and were 50 to 60 feet in diameter. At that time I began to hear a kind of electronic blip, it sounded like water dripping into a large bowl but with echo's, it was then I realized that I couldn't move and I was face to face with what I was told did not exist.
The reality set in when I found myself on a table getting some kind of exam. Not knowing how I got dressed I was led to a room where I had an encounter with what I perceived to be an angel because of its radiant piercing light and love that penetrated my very existing soul. I know we had a long conversation because I was missing from my post for three hours.
The next thing I knew I was standing where I had been before looking straight up at nothing. I didn't even get to see them leave but they told me they would be back and I would see them again. My so-called friends were standing there speechless and I told them we had to report this to my Platoon Sgt. Palmer but they didn't want to report. I had to be the spokesman for myself since they wouldn't report. Palmer tried to talk me out of what I was about to do and I told him it was my job as I was on guard duty and bound by my oath to report anything strange or unusual and this definitely fell into this category. I told him okay then I was AWOL for three hours, where in the hell was I? What he told me next was this: if you persist with this you will go to the Psych Ward back at Ft. Ord. He then told me that himself and others had seen these things too and to keep my mouth shut about it. With that statement I became furious and told him to put it on record and I meant right now. He put it on record and I went to the ward. While I was there the staff convinced themselves that I had seen something but as to what it was, they didn't have a clue.
When I returned to duty I was spurned and made fun of so I started telling everyone I came in contact with about the situation out there and was sent back to the Psych Ward. This time my Executive Officer Lt. Hammond came to the back door of the ward to tell me that himself and three other officers had chased strange lights all over the desert for three nights in a row but could never catch up to them.
This was a good man, he believed me from the beginning and followed through trying to help me. If he went to Vietnam I hope and pray that he made it home safely and by some miracle reads this story.
After the event happened my company designation was changed from Co. A to Co. G (why? COVER-UP) It is my opinion that "Hunter Liggett" was at that time an abduction terminal and probably still is because of its close proximity to Edwards and Area-51 and all of the other secret goings on in the Mojave Desert. It is my opinion that the only trap that I was caught in was the one 'THEY" told me did not exist.

MAYAN PANELS UNEARTHED
Guatemala: UFO experts amazed by Mayan panels just unearthed |
Interestingly the date range given for the carvings puts their creation not long after Ezekiel’s graphic descriptions of wheels within wheels. To say that the similarity to Ezekiel’s wheels and ‘living creatures’ is striking might be putting it mildly.

TUNGUSKA
Image: University of Maine
On June 30, 1908, the Earth experienced an explosion 1,000 times the magnitude of the the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan (shown above). The event resulted in the flattening of 80 million trees over an area roughly the size of Washington DC, and a century later scientists and UFO enthusiasts are still debating about what caused this colossal 5-30 megaton blast, and what happened to its mysterious remains.
Image: WikiMedia Commons
Dubbed the Tunguska Event, or Tunguska Explosion, because of the location of the blast in the Tunguska Valley of Russia, the event would have registered a devastating 5.0 on the Richter Scale, had it been invented at the time. And had it occurred about five hours later in the day, the Earth’s rotation would have guaranteed that instead of killing 1,000 reindeer, the blazing object would have completely wiped out St Petersburg.
Instead, and luckily for us, the explosion happened at approximately 7:17 in the morning in isolated Siberia where only one unfortunate person died from the blast. Locals first noticed an extraterrestrial object zip bright blue across the clear sky; not long afterward, there was a flash, intense, blistering heat and loud thundering. Windows broke and people were knocked to the ground.
Russian mineralogist Leonid Kulik obtained this testimony from S Semenov during his 1930 Tunguska expedition:
“I suddenly saw that directly to the North, over Onkoul’s Tunguska road, the sky split in two and fire appeared high and wide over the forest… The split in the sky grew larger, and the entire Northern side was covered with fire. At that moment I became so hot that I couldn’t bear it, as if my shirt was on fire; from the northern side, where the fire was, came strong heat. I wanted to tear off my shirt and throw it down, but then the sky shut closed, and a strong thump sounded, and I was thrown a few yards. I lost my senses for a moment, but then my wife ran out and led me to the house. After that such noise came, as if rocks were falling or cannons were firing, the earth shook, and when I was on the ground, I pressed my head down, fearing rocks would smash it. When the sky opened up, hot wind raced between the houses, like from cannons, which left traces in the ground like pathways, and it damaged some crops. Later we saw that many windows were shattered, and in the barn a part of the iron lock snapped.”
Image: WikiMedia Commons
Thousands of miles away, changes in atmospheric pressure occurred. For weeks, the night skies in England glowed with an eerie light caused by dust from the explosion. It was so bright that people didn’t even need their lamps to read!
And what makes this event more bizarre is that the explosion seemed to have occurred in the sky; the actual impact from this object, whether asteroid, comet, or UFO cannot be found. Some accounts even note that the unidentified object made two 45 degree angle turns to avoid harming human life before it blew up, and that a mysterious, towering human/yeti-like creature haunted the woods years after the blast. This led alien pundits to claim that life forms from another planet were trying to make what would turn out to be an unsuccessful emergency landing on Earth.
Image: Google Earth via GIS Development
Scientists have had their fair share of wacky ideas to explain the event as well. Some claimed that a ’small’ black hole had entered the Earth, that it was an explosion of antimatter, or that deuterium in a comet underwent a nuclear fusion reaction. Although these theories have all been rebuffed, the Tunguska event still holds scientists and others captive 100 years after it occurred. The most recent, and perhaps more probable explanation about the mighty Tunguska explosion has been offered by a 2007 Italian expedition, which asserts that nearby Lake Cheko is the impact site.
Scientists are also running experiments to predict when the next similar impact might hit the Earth and how we might possibly avoid its disastrous effects. It’s predicted that these types of events happen about once every 1,000 years – good news for us, because none of us want to get hit by anything near the size of the Tunguska event.

BIGFOOT IN OKLAHOMA
Bigfoot Researchers Exploring Southeastern Oklahoma
Posted: 24 May 2009 05:10 AM PDT
(This cast, made about a year ago in Chelsea, is of a footprint that is about 15 inches long by 5 inches wide.)Some 25 to 30 researchers will be braving the southeastern Oklahoma woods this weekend in search of the reclusive Bigfoot.
The Kiamichi Mountains provide the apelike creature a habitat that's rich with deer, berries, honeysuckle and plenty of woodsy cover, believers say.
"You could hide an army in there and never know it," said D.W. Lee of Stilwell, global director of the Mid-America Bigfoot Research Center.
In October in Honobia, the researchers saw "eye shine" from a creature standing about 8 feet tall, he said.
"They would get close enough that the campfire would shine in their eyes and it would show green," Lee said.
Like ghost hunters, the Bigfoot researchers will be equipped with night-vision goggles and scopes, along with an array of audio and video equipment. They will record hours of footage from the trail for viewing after their trip.
Lee said the creatures typically throw rocks at them when they're sitting around a campfire.
"If they wanted to hit you, they would," he said. "It's like they just want to see how you'll react. Other times you may get in areas where you're not welcome. If you're close to the little ones — the young Bigfoot — they're going to make sure you leave."
The only time Lee said he became fearful in the woods was during a trip to the Chelsea area in northeastern Oklahoma.
"I saw three groups of Bigfoot going across a field in front of me," he said.
About a year ago in the Chelsea area, the researchers poured a cast of a footprint, 15 inches long and 5 inches wide, that they believe was made by a Bigfoot.
They've photographed other footprints along logging roads in the Kiamichi Mountains of southeastern Oklahoma.
Mountain-area natives and Sasquatch-track followers are familiar with what they say are the creature's distinctive screams and whoops.
Lee said Bigfoot is intelligent and can mimic the sounds of other animals.
"We do hear a lot of owl calls, but you can tell it's not an owl because it's like an 800-pound owl hooting at you," he said.
About five years ago, Lee's group received a report from a man hunting deer in a tree stand in the Kiamichi Mountains. It seems that his pager went off, and after he turned it off, he heard something in the woods mimicking its beep-beep sounds.
"When he turned around, he saw Bigfoot standing there," Lee said. "His words were that it was a 'big something' that he just didn't want no part of."
Perhaps Jane Goodall gives skeptics some pause.
In a 2002 interview with National Public Radio, the primatologist said she believes that the creature could exist. She said she based that assessment on descriptions given to her by American Indians, who reported two sightings and described sounds they'd heard.
Some people have dismissed Bigfoot sightings in Oklahoma as actually black bear sightings. But unlike bears, Lee said, a Bigfoot walks upright exclusively and — at 7 to 8 feet tall — is much taller than a black bear.
"We're not just a bunch of country hicks," said Lee, a network administrator.
Hundreds of people attend the Honobia Bigfoot Festival and Conference each year. This year it will be held Oct. 2-3 and sponsored by the Talihina Chamber of Commerce.

TREVOR JAMES CONSTABLE
A Man of Seasons
By Ken Adachi <Editor>
Every Age seems to have their own. The self realized adventurer whose wanderlust among uncharted borderlands returns to mankind brand new specimens of insight and knowledge to broaden and benefit the human fraternity. Among inventors, every school child knows the classic examples of Edison and Bell, but relatively few would have known of the great accomplishments of a magnificent trail blazer of the first half of the 20th Century by the name of Ruth Drown, had it not been for the tenacity of an equally formidable trail blazer of the second half of the 20th century, Trevor James Constable.
http://educate-yourself.org/tjc/briefbio.shtml
Trevor's wanderings have taken him far, but a broad review of his life's work must include his development and refinement of a reliable method of weather manipulation known as Etheric Rain Engineering, his discovery and photography of huge, plasmoidal aerial creatures in the 1950's which he identified as "Critters", his capturing of color photos of UFO's using ordinary 35 mm color film and a special lens filter, his documentation of the extraordinary advancements in the healing arts discovered by Dr. Ruth Drown and her subsequent persecution by the government, his elaboration of the New Knowledge brought forth by Rudolf Steiner and Wilhelm Reich, among others, whose discoveries could herald a renewed Renaissance for all of mankind if more widely known and embraced, and his international reputation as an aviation historian of German and Allied fighter pilots of World War II
Born in New Zealand in 1925, Trevor J Constable engaged a long career at sea which spanned nearly a half century, lasting from World War II until 1992. After finishing high school, he joined the New Zealand Merchant Marine for a year, followed with the British Merchant Marine for five years, and after emigrating to the United States in 1952, sailed for 26 years with the U.S Merchant Marine as a Radio Electronics Officer. He plied the North Atlantic with the British in the late 40's aboard the famed Queen Mary and completed more than 300 crossings of the North Pacific aboard the SS Maui, flagship of the Matson Navigation Company; the ship upon which he conducted many of his famous weather manipulation experiments utilizing the multi-tubed Cloudbuster invented by Wilhelm Reich and the etheric principles expounded by Rudolf Steiner and Gunther Wachsmuth.
During his 14 years aboard the SS Maui, he was finally able to divorce his cloudbusting equipment from water grounding, a substantial step forward. He now opened a new epoch in etheric weather engineering based on biogeometric forms and phi geometry. His technical goal was to directly access the etheric continuum and use its native laws to engineeer weather, especially rain. Variants developed in this experimental crucible on the high seas were frequently employed which included rotating formats on the moving ship and injecting harmonious spiralling motions into the ether by human design. Trevor's real-world progress was documented using very compelling time-lapse video. This video documentation demonstrated that his simple etheric vortex generators worked effectively on the local weather, even through half-inch thick steel -- six decks down within the ship's hull.
As the size and weight of his etheric translators were progressively reduced, realization of a longtime dream came within reach: taking etheric rain engineering AIRBORNE. By 1994, he had conclusively proved in a series of airborne tests in Hawaii, that airborne etheric rain engineering was another new epoch in etheric engineering. The widened horizon from an aircraft, unmatched visibility, and infinite heading control, greatly magnified the effects he had learned to produce in his years of maritime pioneering.
In the late 80s and early 90s, he documented a series of smog reduction operations in southern California. These proved the effectiveness of etheric manipulation techniques against smog, in an area considered the largest and filthiest smog region in America. Funded by Singapore businessman and entrepreneur George K. C. Wuu, these operations culminated in a full-season, anti-smog operation in 1990, using fourteen stations throughout southern California. Smog came down in that single season by an astonishing 24 percent, for a total investment cost of $35,000. Federal and state authorities were notified-IN ADVANCE- of this smog reduction endeavor using official forms. Despite Trevor's stellar results, California was not interested in the further use of these techniques and has since seen smog expenditures exceed $10 billion, with no end in sight for 2003.
Trevor's rain and smog operations are recounted in a 1994 book entitled Loom of the Future. The book employs a new literary format in the form of a book-long interview, with more than 130 photographs keyed to the text. Loom of the Future provides a historical education in the step by step progress of etheric engineering.
In 1991, the Singapore company Trevor formed with George Wuu, AEREO, was hired by the State of Melaka in Malaysia, then in drought. Working with George Wuu and Dr. Peter Lindemann from atop a 32-story hotel in Melaka, he engineered 38 measurable rains during a 57-day dry-season period -- approximately 75 percent of a normal annual Melaka rainfall, in mainland Malaysia's driest state.
Following Trevor's development of airborne etheric rain engineering in 1994, having proved it practicable and feasible in both Hawaii and Malaysia, George Wuu now formed a new commercial rain engineering enterprise in Singapore called Etheric Rain Engineering Pte. Ltd. This corporation provides airborne etheric rain engineering services to governments. The company has a website with many splendid articles and explanations of etheric science at www.rainengineering.com . The greatest difficulty that has plagued the company since its inception has not been engineering rain or conquering smog, but rather overcoming bureaucratic sloth and the vested interests of the 'disaster' industry; a dilemma that hobbles them to this day.
Trevor's greatest literary contribution to humanity is surely The Cosmic Pulse of Life, first published in 1975. Here, he elucidates the great forward leaps engendered by the likes of Rudolf Steiner, Wilhelm Reich, and Ruth Drown, an advanced soul who Trevor often described as a 'saint' who was first crucified, and then literally murdered by orthodox medical interests working through government stooges. Dr. Drown's invention of Radio-Vision alone, an embarrassingly simple instrument used to obtain CAT scan-like X-ray images of a patient-at a distance, should have earned Drown the Nobel Prize in the early 1930's. Instead, she was forced to endure a lifetime of unending pillorying, vilification, belittlement and kangaroo courts designed to break her emotionally, physically, and financially. In the chapters titled The Boys Downstairs and The Battle for The Earth, Trevor brings to light-25 years before anyone heard of the name David Icke-the hidden hand of the Ahrimanic powers, malevolent fourth dimensional alien forces who are subverting and enslaving humankind from within. Other chapters in this magnificent compendium deal with the Four Ethers, UFO's, Critters, Etherean science, Meade Layne (founder of the Borderland Sciences Foundation), George Van Tassel, Ernst Lehrs, Dr Franklin Thomas, and a host of other important revelations and personalities too numerous to include here.
On land, his interest in UFO's investigation was undoubtedly fanned by the phenomenal activities that he had witnessed in the 1950's at a remote location in the California desert known as Giant Rock, near Landers. It was there where George Van Tassel had been taken aboard an alien spacecraft in 1954 and afterwards was in regular psychic communication with this group of aliens and other 'space brothers' who were able to speak through Van Tassel using his vocal apparatus. Van Tassel held regular public get togethers within a large, hollowed out room excavated beneath Giant Rock which included both human and, at times, human looking alien 'guests', who sometimes materialized and dematerialized in full view of those attending. UFO manifestations and fly-bys were also a common sight at Giant Rock in those days. Trevor was initially eager to learn from Van Tassel how to open up such psychic channels himself, but later came to deeply regret having acquired the skill. It took the help of a gifted clairvoyant, Dr. Franklin Thomas, to finally end these unwanted psychic intrusions.
While Trevor is best known for his UFO investigations and weather manipulation activities, few people realize his reputation as an aviation historian of fighter pilots of World War II. He wrote six books with Col. Raymond Toliver in which they documented the aeronautical feats and heroism of flying aces from both sides of the Atlantic. His definitive biography of Erich Hartmann, the world's greatest fighter pilot, in a book titled The Blond Knight of Germany was one of the most popular fighter ace biographies ever sold. The German edition alone, has enjoyed over 50 hardcover reprintings to date and has sold more than 300,000 copies.
Today, at 77, TJ Constable retains the physical appearance and stamina of a man half his age. He recently collaborated with Jose Escamilla, known for his video taping of "rods", to produce a documentary about a tentative connection between Trevor's larger (mature?) Critters and Jose's smaller (immature?) rods. The video will include footage shot by Trevor aboard airliners in the 1970's with his 18A optical filter which shows UFO's-in color- coming right up to the aircraft and flying side by side, unseen by other passengers. Trevor remains optimistic that the bureaucratic barriers to commercial rain engineering will someday be sufficiently dismantled to allow him and George Wuu to fully employ the marvelous methodology that he labored so long to perfect and bring rain to those many drought stricken regions of the earth where famine and economic depression need not exist.

ORANGE UFOs
Stunned onlookers watch as mysterious orange UFOs swoop across Britain's skies
By David Wilkes
Last updated at 10:41 AM on 04th June 2009
Darting silently in formation, the mysterious glowing orbs light up the night sky.
Some say these orange lights even weave in between each other with the precision of a synchronised flying team from some far corner of the universe.
Clusters of more than 100 have been spotted across Britain and even Holland, leaving onlookers with an eerie sense that, for all the mystifying beauty of the strange objects, they may have just witnessed an armada of invading UFOs.
Stunned: Families in Lincoln spotted glowing orange spheres grouped together in the sky on Sunday night
Eerie: Witnesses reported seeing the lights flying in an apparent formation, dodging and darting around each other before disappearing
The most recent sighting was on Sunday when they were seen in two locations, Merseyside and Lincoln. Days earlier a similar phenomenon was spotted over Cambridgeshire, where one witness claims each was as big as a house.
The sightings have prompted defence officials to check their logs and sent UFO fans into orbits of excitement. Engineer Paul Slight, 54, took photos on his mobile phone of the strange objects hovering over Lincoln at 10.30pm while he was cycling home after a day out with friends.
'There were 26 of them at first, dodging and darting in between each other like they were playing a game,' he said.
These four strange orange lights were captured in this photograph taken in Holland on May 11
'After that, seven more arrived and weaved through the crowd of lights like strange kinds of aircraft. After five minutes of moving around, they hung in the air for a second then shot off into the sky and disappeared.'
A spokesman for nearby RAF Cranwell said the base was closed at the weekend so the lights could not be attributed to its aircraft. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense is examining claims that the Merseyside lights were connected to an exercise involving HMS Daring, docked in Liverpool.
An ex-military source claimed the lights were dropped by jets to simulate the path of a missile in order to test the warship's radar systems.
Military exercise: Experts are investigating whether these orange lights above Merseyside were 'counter measures' to test the defenses of a Royal Navy ship
HMS Daring, which is currently docked at Liverpool, uses radar-activated guns. It is believed the lights seen may have been 'counter-measures' to test its defences
In Cambridgeshire, banker Scott Boswell, 37, said he saw more than 100 lights flying less than two miles above his home in Hinchingbrooke. The former soldier and experienced pilot said: 'I know they weren't aircraft – they were silent.
'And I was a soldier for a decade so I could immediately rule out flares or weather balloons. I really have no idea what they were.'
On the same night, May 27, at around 11.30pm guesthouse owner Auberon Hedgecoe, 40, of nearby Huntingdon, also saw the lights. 'There was no sound,' he said.
Unexplained: An image manufactured by Auberon Hedgecoe of how the lights appeared over a half an hour period above Huntingdon
The Hedgecoe family, from left Suzi, Barney, friend Zac and Auberon, saw 50 of the orange lights above Huntingdon and described them as being 'as big as a house'
'They were traveling 15 at a time and every six minutes more seemed to be coming over the horizon. They were not planes. They were not balloons.
Each one was the size of a building.' Last night it emerged a woman has contacted her local newspaper to claim that the lights over Lincoln were Chinese lanterns – mini hot air balloons – set off at her wedding reception.
'They looked amazing, hope you all enjoyed the spectacle,' she said.
Nick Pope, the former head of the MoD's UFO Project, supported the Chinese lantern theory.
'I'm not disparaging the whole UFO phenomenon, but I'd say 99 per cent of UFO reports involving orange lights in the sky these days are attributable to these lanterns.'

North Carolina Man Claims Intimate Knowledge of Local Bigfoot Colony
Many people over the years have seen what they believed to be sightings or physical evidence of Bigfoot. But Burnette is different in one respect. The creature he saw came back. And, as it turned out, there was more than one. Indeed, he now believes, there's a whole colony of them.
Where, exactly? He's a bit guarded about exact locations, but said he sees the creatures "way up Curtis Creek, near the Parkway."
What brings them back, again and again, to the woods Burnette haunts?
He has several guesses. For one, he believes a large community of them have lived in the area for a long time. And because their home territory coincides with the woods he haunts, they have become familiar with him.
In other words, he has made peace with them. Although he says he has not come face to face with the reclusive creatures, he has found what he believed to be gifts left for him; mushrooms, meat, and other items harvested from the woods.
"They know I'm not out to hurt them, that I'll protect them," he said. "They're used to me now." That familiarity has led to several opportunities to observe them, at a distance, for more than just a few seconds, he said.
So how is it that more people haven't seen them? Simply, he answered, because people tend to think of Bigfoot as a dumb beast, no smarter than a bear. In fact, the Bigfoot culture is well developed and they are highly intelligent creatures.
"They're more aware of you than you are of them," he said. "These are very alert creatures."
After years of observation, Burnette believes the Bigfoot domesticates the wild animals of the forest the same way humans domesticated dogs, and for the same reasons.
"They use bear to hunt," he explained. "They hunt in groups."
Earlier this spring, Burnette got what he believes is confirmation of this theory, when he came very close to a hunting party accidentally.
"I felt sure something was watching me," he said of one day's excursion into the woods. "I turned around and felt eyes on me." He didn't see anything out of the ordinary, he explained, but long years of romping the woods has taught him the limitations of the human eye in the dense foliage.
He raised his cell phone and took pictures of the woods in front of him. It was only after he had detail shots printed at maximum enlargement that he saw the evidence he had in hand.
One eerie picture shows what appears distinctly to be a humanoid face, with flat, wide mouth and heavy brows. The face's left are the shapes of what could be faces of bears or other beasts.
Burnette was chilled to think he had come so close to a hunting party, but said that, by this time, if the Bigfoot had wanted to hurt him they could have done so. The fact he has remained unharmed is evidence, he said, that the Bigfoot mainly hunts small game.
This latest close encounter is not the first. Several years ago, he continued, he found what he believed to be an infant Bigfoot left on his property. Why would a mother Bigfoot abandon her baby?
Burnette suspects that the baby may have been in danger from a male. He said in the primate kingdom, a male will sometimes kill an infant in order to get the female to go into heat. Holding the infant, he made what he now regards as a great mistake.
"I took it back into the woods," he said, "and left it, hoping she would come back for it." Sadly this did not happen. Days later, he found the skull of the young creature; whether it had been eaten by dogs or killed by an adult Bigfoot, he didn't dare speculate.
He explained that he realized this was the evidence the world had been waiting for. He photographed the skull, then sent it to Texas laboratory for DNA analysis. Today, he is upset about the lab's progress, and speculated he might have to go to court to get the thing back into his possession.
Meanwhile though, two pictures he shot of the skull are featured in the book he published a while back about his observations. Entitled "Natures Secret Agents," the book is a dialy account of his experiences and observations over the years. Many sightings are detailed, along with the occasional exchange of gifts and, sometimes, terrifying harassment by less friendly members of the Bigfoot community.
Burnette has learned to keep his distance. He tries to get the best photographs he can, but does not ever wish to put them on the defensive. The size, strength and cunning of the creatures means no human would stand a chance. He feels safe so long as he maintains a healthy respect for the Bigfoots' privacy and space.
He said that several years ago an Indian chief told him the Bigfoot is the guardian of the forest and all the animals in it. After several years observation, he is inclined to agree.
"They don't want anything to do with us," he said, because they know the violent ways of Man. "I want to share what I have learned so that we can understand them, not fear them, and respect them and their home."
