The Mystery of the Xendra

The Xendra One of the most mysterious cases relating to the UFO phenomena is the recent report of the Xendra; supposedly a temporal doorway into a parallel reality, occupied by alien beings. The Xendra, (pronounced "shen-drah") first appeared on Sunday, March 31, 2002, after being heralded by Peruvian ufologist Sixto Paz in February, 2002. Paz had forecast the coming of the Xendra as an "alien contact" event. The events reportedly occurred near Rancagua, Chile. Paz and several members of a new age group called "Grupo Rama" met for a three-day seminar on UFOs at Los Cipreses National Park near the city of Rancagua on March 29. The meeting was a camp-out affair on a bluff overlooking the Rio Cipreses canyon.

Paz made an announcment to group members and visitors that the doorway was "forming in the air." As if to perform on cue, suddenly the Xendra made its appearance. According to Paz and other members of the group, twenty-four Chileans, the majority of them Grupo Rama members, left the others and walked under the other-worldly formation. Onlookers described the Xendra as a "blue" or "luminous" arch which measure 429 feet wide. Witness accounts stated that the twenty-four adventurers simply vanished into the dimensional doorway.

Many other visitors were present besides those of Paz's group, being in attendance at the International Congress of Extraterrestrial Contact. Paz was one of the keynote speakers, and was well-known and respected among the community of Chilean UFO believers. He had previously stated that he was a contactee, and was given the information of upcoming events by the aliens themselves. Naturally, Paz's predictions had brought a larger crowd unusual, and even more interest was generated on March 30, when eyewitnesses saw "unidentified" targets glowing in the skies over the canyon.

"They were as bright as giant light bulbs," claimed one eyewitness.

"These types of UFO sightings assured us that something was going to happen," Valdivieto said, "During the previous occasions when the contact took place, the people included in the teleportation were suddenly aware of the interdimensional gateway or Xendra. They somehow learned that through this door, they would have managed to establish contact with extraterrestrial beings."

"On Sunday (March 31, 2002) at around noon, 24 persons in three groups entered a dimensional gateway that appeared by itself over the terrain. It was a kind of dome, a luminous archway measuring four by four meters. They (the participants) lost their materiality without disappearing completely. Upon entering, they met several (alien) characters who waited within and received information," said Valdivieto, 28, himself a Chilean ufologist and eyewitness to the event.

According to Valdivieto, the contact experience was "dimensional."

"I can't say it was physical like shaking someone's hand, but it was as though we crossed (the threshold) into a different reality."

Valdivieto claimed that he did not cross the doorway or Xendra himself, because he wanted to be a witness to the phenomenon. The 24 participants were "all professionals, college students of high intellectual levels, mostly Chileans, and some were members of Grupo Rama, a New Age association."

In a striking contrast, Eduardo Fouri, an investigator for Chile's Centro de Fenomenos Aereos Anomalos (Center for Anomalous Aerial Phenomena.), or CEFAA completely debunked Valdivieto's story, adding that he himself "had participated in the event" at Rio Cipreses "and had seen absolutely nothing."

"Everyone was eager to have an experience and, on the last day, Sixto Paz said that a blue arch was forming in the air," Fouri said, "I went to look and could see no such blue arch. Seven Chileans (not twenty four) were selected to cross through this 'Xendra' that was forming. The truth is, I went to look and I didn't see anyone dematerializing into thin air."

To make matters even more confusing, CEFAA itself negated Fouri's statement. Gustavo Rodriguez, national Secretary of CEFAA, "explained that the opinion was that of an external collaborator and that it did not represent the committee's opinion."

"We do not have an opinion in this regard," Rodriguez said, "First, because we lack information. Second, we were never invited to the meeting. And third, Sr. Sixto Paz never contacted us. What appeared in the newspapers was the opinion of an external collaborator."

Paz continued to insist that the events happened exactly as he initially claimed. He stated that the volunteers; "did have an interdimensional experience" at Rio Cipreses. In an interview with Terra Chile, Paz said, "The initial effort was made to ensure excellence by trying to keep a large number of people from attending, only those who had been prepared over time for the importance of the (contact) mission--constancy, continuity and discipline--to maintain the right vibratory level" for entry into the Xendra."

The Xendra Location

Area of the formation

"Everyone wanted to be at the site to see what would happen," Paz reported, "This was a serious error, because neither I nor anyone else is the 'lucky rabbit's foot' that can ensure an alien contact experience. This depends exclusively upon each and every one of the participants, as well as the conditions I just mentioned." "From a height we could see the impressive canyon of the Rio Cipreses, safeguarded by steep and mighty red-and-gray mountains. The vista was incredible and truly stunning. The sky was clear, without any clouds or haze." "It was a new (campsite) area, recently laid out.

For this reason, the restrooms and other facilities were operational but still unfinished. This location guaranteed solitude and privacy since most park visitors tend to go to well-known areas."

"The first thing that was done at the (camp) site was to designate locations for objects being unloaded from cars, and then we worked on the harmonization and protection of the area. To achieve this, everyone present formed two large circles, and we issued a prayer or meditation to the guardian spirits of the four corners of the Earth and the seven Galactic Directions, drawn from the magnificent teachings of the great modern prophet, Jose Arguelles of Las Trece Lunas (The Thirteen Moons) movement."

When the 24 participants passed beneath the Xendra, each encountered entities which were described as "robed, bald-headed humanoids" and were given separate messages. While the individual messages varied, Paz explained, there were two predictions that were common to all.

One, that Chile would be the site of more alien contacts in the months to come.

Two, that the aliens intended to establish "a permanent presence" in the "Southern Zone," i.e. South America, Africa and Australia.

Meanwhile, the participants are busily getting out the Xendra message. On Friday, May 10, 2002, witness Camilo Valdivieto, 28, organized a seminar of his own in Santiago de Chile. Seminar topics included the following: (1) "The Existence of a New Order;" (2) "Secrets of the Subterranean World;" and (3) "The Actuality of Extraterrestrial Contact." (See NotiOVNI for May 5, 2002.

The murky facts concerning the Xendra are reminiscent of the 1950s case of George Adamski, one of the original so-called "contactees." Adamski claimed to communicate with the Venusians, among others, and take fantastic rides on extraterrestrial spaceships. He amassed a large following during his heyday. He also was responsible for taking clear pictures of Alien craft. Adamski has been deemed a liar and a lunatic by most serious UFO researchers, although he still has a following today. Until more factual testimony and proof is received, the mystery of the Xendra will remain.

Alien Beings in Neighbor's Yard - Connecticut - 12/17/09

NOTE: the following report was submitted to MUFON on 12/17/09 from a 15 year old in Connecticut.

MUFON witness report (unedited): "First what happened is I woke up because i heard a boom from outside. I was scared out of sleep. I sit up, and I see a white figure in my neighbor's yard. I figure it must be a light, and I try to fall asleep again. It doesn't work. I think about what it could be, and I surmised an extra terrestrial. For 30 minutes I was scared like hell to even get up, so I checked my cell phone which was on the table next to me to check the time. It was exactly 6:02. The event has gone on from about 5:30 to now, for I currently see the objects while writing the report.

I sit up, and I see the figures closer now, so i can make out what they are. Bodies. Paper white bodies in the distance. I stare at the figures longer. I see the figures blink their "heads" on and off, with no particular pattern, as if speaking to one another. Then I see a third one come in.

The order of the objects in the window is this from me: Orange figure far left, short figure middle, a slightly bigger figure to the far right. This orange figure is about twice the size of the other two, and is orange. I heard a great roar from the sky, like the cry of a low wailing engine. I figure it could be their vessel's engine, but I cannot see any crafts.

I get up a little bit later to look out the window. I saw them oh so clearly. I saw bodies, two arms, two legs, heads, and on one of them I saw a separate light coming from the one on the far right. It is square. It seems like a map. They blink their "heads" once again as if in conversation, and I turn on my computer to write this report.

I am but 15, so I am scared shitless, shaking more than I ever have in my entire life, pardon my french. I talk to my friend and she says she wishes to see the figures as well, while I do have a webcam, it is too late. I look out one last time, and they vanish. I heard another engine sound, loud and clear, and then nothing. Only the wind remains now."

The Christmas Gift That Refused To Be Ignored

oprah - by Mark Leyner - Can an innocent Christmas present plunge a normal family into consensual madness?

Yes, it can, especially if the catalyst is a three-foot My Size Barbie, the first exceedingly popular toy that my daughter, Gaby, ever asked for insistently.

Her obsession meant I ended up in some remote Toys “R” Us in another state! one Christmas Eve about ten years ago, vying with other desperately doting dads for the last few items on well-looted shelves.

But I managed to bag my first Big Gift.

The next morning, Gaby exuberantly unwrapped the My Size Barbie, immediately and inexplicably christening the doll Jessica Lynn Cohen.

Why that oddly specific appellation, with its country-western triple cadence, we’ll never know. It was Christmas, and it was her doll, and it stuck.

Gaby and Jessica Lynn Cohen became instant BFFs. Gaby lent Jessica Lynn Cohen her clothes, they played school, hosted tea parties, went to the park, sat on the stoop together, reenacted scenes from Disney movies.

But then came the inevitable cooling off. Kids tire of gifts. And they abruptly and blithely cast them into oblivion. No big deal. We put Jessica Lynn Cohen in the basement, in a spare room we use as a catchall storage space.

In the beginning, we’d each move her around just to scare one another. But then she seemed to move around on her own.

She’d appear in various rooms without anyone having touched her - or at least without anyone admitting to having touched her.

I’d go downstairs to attend to a blown fuse and there’d be Jessica Lynn Cohen in the boiler room. We’d find her in the pantry with her arms outstretched in a sort of pious Joan of Arc gesture of supplication or in the bathroom with one leg raised high over her head like a Folies Bergère dancer.

Coming upon her this way could be frightening. She had taken on the stricken phantasmal look of a ghost from a shipwreck.

She also started terrifying other people. I could always tell by the ashen face of some poor plumber or cable guy that he had accidentally stumbled upon Jessica Lynn Cohen in a dark corner of the house.

So we decided to get rid of her. But very bad things happened to us whenever we tried to throw her out.

Within hours of the first time I left her out on the street for the garbage men, my wife, Mercedes, who’d never had a single related symptom, had a severe gallstone attack and needed to be rushed to the emergency room.

I reluctantly brought Jessica Lynn Cohen back inside.

A couple of months later, I was hit by a car as I crossed a street in Culver City, California. At the moment of impact, I did not have that common experience of seeing my life passing before my eyes; I had the unmistakable feeling that Jessica Lynn Cohen was angry.

I called Mercedes and asked if anything unusual had occurred in the days preceding my accident. She admitted that she’d taken Jessica Lynn Cohen to the Salvation Army.

Get her back, I said.

We tried finding a new home for her. A friend - a single guy without kids - finally agreed to take her in. Within two weeks, he’d developed a pilonidal cyst and his brother in Florida was arrested for embezzlement.

Our friend returned her and asked that we never again discuss her in his presence.

We eventually had to reach an accommodation with Jessica Lynn Cohen and accept her as a permanent member of our family.

She is now the unrivaled centerpiece of our Christmas tradition.

On Christmas Eve we keep her in a special “secret detention room.” We worry that Santa, because of his facility for seeing into the souls of all things, might discern in Jessica Lynn Cohen something irredeemably bad, and be frightened off before he has a chance to deliver our presents.

But on Christmas morning, there she stands, in her honored place of precedence, next to the tree.

Yes, I suppose you could say she’s an evil zombie doll who led our family to madness.

But, damn it, she’s our evil zombie doll. We adore her. And we’re never, ever going to abandon her.

And so, another Christmas will come and go, under the vigilant, unflinching gaze of Our Gracious Lady of Nonrefundable Gifts, Our Jessica Lynn Cohen.

A STRING OF BLUE BEADS

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Pete Richards was the loneliest man in town on the day Jean Grace opened the door to his shop. Pete's small business had come down to him from his grandfather. The little front window as strewn with a disarray of old-fashioned things: bracelets and lockets, gold rings and silver boxes, images of jade and ivory, porcelain figurines.

On this winter's afternoon a child was standing there, her forehead against the glass, studying each discarded treasure as if she were looking for something quite special. Finally she straightened up and entered the store.

The shadowy interior of Pete Richards' establishment was even more cluttered than his show window. Behind the counter stood Pete himself, a man not more than 30, but with hair already turning gray. There was a bleak air about him as he looked at the small customer.

"Mister," she began, "would you please let me look at that string of blue beads in the window?"

Pete parted the draperies and lifted out a necklace. The turquoise stones gleamed brightly as he spread the ornament before her.

"They're just perfect," said the child. "Will you wrap them up pretty for me, please?

Pete studied her with a stony air. "Are you buying these for someone?"

"They're for my big sister. She takes care of me. You see, this will be the first Christmas since Mother died. I've been looking for the most wonderful Christmas present for my sister."

"How much money do you have?" asked Pete warily.

She had been busily untying the knots in a handkerchief, and now she poured out a handful of pennies on the counter.

"I emptied my bank," she explained simply.

Pete Richards looked at her thoughtfully. The trusting look of her blue eyes smote him like the pain of an old wound.

"Just a minute," he said, and turned toward the back of the store. Over his shoulder he called, "What's your name?" He was quietly removing the price tag.

"Jean Grace."

When Pete returned to where Jean Grace waited, a package lay in his hand, wrapped in scarlet paper and tied with green ribbon. "There," he said, "Don't lose it on the way home."

She smiled happily at him over her shoulder as she ran out the door. Through the window he watched her go, while desolation flooded his thoughts. Something about Jean Grace and her string of beads had stirred him to the depths of a grief that would not stay buried. The child's hair was wheat yellow, her eyes sea blue, and once upon a time, not long before, Pete had been in love with a girl with hair of that same yellow and with eyes just as blue. And the turquoise necklace was to have been hers.

But there had come a rainy night - a truck skidding on a slippery road - and the life was crushed out of his dream.

Since then Pete Richards had lived too much with his grief in solitude. He was polite to customers, but after business hours his world seemed empty.

The blue eyes of Jean Grace jolted him into acute remembrance of what he had lost. The pain of it made him recoil from the exuberance of holiday shoppers. During the next ten days trade was brisk. When the last customer had gone, late on Christmas Eve, he sighed with relief. But for Pete Richards the night was not quite over.

The door opened and a young woman hurried in. Her hair was golden yellow and her large eyes were blue. Without speaking she drew from her purse an object loosely wrapped in red paper. Presently the string of blue beads lay gleaming again before him.

"Did this come from your shop?" she asked.

Pete answered softly, "Yes, it did."

"Are the stones real?"

"Yes. Not the finest quality - but real."

"Can you remember who it was you sold them to?"

"She was a small girl. Her name was Jean. She bought them for her older sister's Christmas present."

"How much are they worth?"

"The price," he told her solemnly, "is always a confidential matter between the seller and the customer."

"But Jean has never had more than a few pennies of spending money. How could she pay for them?"

Pete was folding the gay paper back into its creases, re-wrapping the little package just as neatly as before."

"She paid the biggest price anyone can ever pay," he said. "She gave all she had."

There was a silence then that filled the little curio shop. In some faraway steeple, a bell began to ring. The little package lying on the counter, the question in the eyes of the girl and the strange feeling of renewal struggling unreasonably in the heart of the man, all had come to be because of the love of a child.

"But why did you do it," she asked.

He held out the gift in his hand. "It's already Christmas morning," he said, "and it's my misfortune that I have no one to give anything to. Will you let me see you home and wish you a Merry Christmas at your door?"

And so, to the sound of many bells, and in the midst of happy people, Pete Richards and a girl whose name he had yet to learn walked out into the beginning of the great day that brings hope into the world for us all.
_________
This story was in a Christmas card my Mother gave me way back in about 1985. I have saved it all this time. I hope it touches your heart like it did mine. There are many lonely people at Christmas time with no one to share with. Perhaps you will find a "Jean Grace" that will touch your heart too. Merry Christmas everyone.

NEW ZEALAND READER CHRONICLES CLOSE ENCOUNTER

"Sir, I have read many of your reader's experiences. Because of your presentation, I have decided to come forward with a personal event that happened to me in 1987 while living in New Zealand. You have my permission to post this for your readers."

"One January morning, I set off on what should have been no more than a 3 hour drive to Auckland, NZ. I arrived at my destination feeling extremely tired and confused. When I went to the hotel front desk to check in, I was told that I had no room reservation. Then, after the desk clerk checked the records, I was stunned to learn that I had lost 5 days and had no idea where I had been."

"Luckily, there was a vacancy, so I checked in and went right to the room. After a quick shower and a bite to eat, I decided to grab a nap. I laid there wondering what had happened to me and that I may as well drive back home because I missed all of the appointments I had scheduled."

"Eventually, I drifted off to sleep but would wake up every hour or so feeling nervous and helpless. The next day, I drove back home. After a few days, though, I continued to experience extreme anxiety. I called my GP and was able to see him the next day. I didn't tell the doctor about my experience but did explain my nervousness and lack of sleep. Sensing this was more than a physical ailment, he suggested I see an anxiety therapist. After several sessions with the therapist, who I confided in about the lost time, I was recommended to a psychologist who had dealt with this phenomena before."

"A week later, I went to see the psychologist. As soon as I saw him, I had an instinctive feeling this was going to be an unusual session. He was fairly young with short blond hair. His mannerisms were unlike those of any person I have ever met though, I just couldn't put a finger on why I felt this way. I sat down in a large leather chair directly facing the doctor. He stared at me for almost a minute, then smiled and asked me to tell him what I remembered. All of a sudden, a large flash seemed to hit me in the face and I was able to remember being escorted on board a huge craft by a tall and thin female dressed in a dark gray leotard. Her body features were human-like, similar figure with hips and breasts but a slightly larger head. Her nose, mouth, ears and hair looked human-like but her eyes were large and round with onyx black pupils. I suppose she could be termed as a 'humanoid'. She directed me to a room where I was told (in English) to wait."

"Soon, I was approached by three other humanoids, one tall, looking like the previous female humanoid, the second a bit shorter and was male. The third was a very short and stout male and walked ahead of the other two. All three had similar facial features except the short, stout humanoid had a small mouth and nose. I was struck with an almost overpowering feeling of his presence as if he possessed an energy that was being projected then reabsorbed by his body. The short humanoid said, "welcome" and told me that he was the designated “guardian” of this section. The humanoids seemed to communicate to each other by using telepathy and various hand motions."

"I was shown another "world" and arrived at a huge metropolis, which was very neat and orderly. I noticed when the craft landed that the city lacked any tall buildings and most of the buildings were pyramid shaped dwellings and made of what appeared to be a transparent but tinted material. I was taken to a residential area with children who were playing just like human children. The buildings here were cylinder shaped and opaque. The color inside the buildings was mostly a bright white with a touch of silver, gray and red inside. A soft light seemed to radiate from everything and all the residents seemed so peaceful."

"After what seemed like a few minutes, I remember sitting in my car parked in front of the hotel in Auckland. Then I hear the words "is that everything?" I opened my eyes and looked directly at the doctor, but this time he had transformed into the small, stout humanoid wearing a business suit. He simply said "hello...did you enjoy your journey" and I attempted to reply but could not speak. Then he told me to wait here and walked through a side door in the office."

"Several minutes later, the secretary walked in, shocked when she saw me and inquired to who I was and why I was in the doctor's office. I told her that the doctor had just left. She gave me the oddest look, then told me the doctor was out all day on an emergency. She then asked if I would care to reschedule an appointment. Still taken aback, I replied that I would call back later."

"I never have figured out how I got in the psychologist's office and why the small, stout humanoid confronted me there. Since that time, I have never had another experience."

"I wonder if others have had a similar encounter?"

Sincerely..."D"

NOTE: I received this email today. "D" would like to hear from other people who have had a similar experience. I can forward the inquiries to him or you can post your comments. BTW, the image was provided by "D". He states this is the best representation of the female humanoid he has been able to find...Lon

Bigfoot Migration Route Goes Through West Virginia?

register-herald - Two brothers hunting for turkeys in the Monongahela National Forest split up and head out in different directions, one of them venturing into a small opening that leads within a few feet inside the woods to a massive ravine.

Suddenly comes the sound of something huge thrashing at the bottom of that deep ravine, too loud for a bear or a fellow hunter, but unmistakably walking on two feet, snapping limbs and crushing branches underfoot.

What follows next almost defies description — a blood-curdling scream that seems to reverberate off the sides of the ravine.

The hunter looks up at his brother, who inquires, “Did you get a shot at Bigfoot?”

To them, it’s a big joke, another hunting story that survives well beyond that season.

But to rock musician Kris Allen, the idea of Bigfoot running around in West Virginia’s rugged terrain is no laughing matter. Rather, it is a serious issue that has thrust him into a major investigation that entails two films.

Once the lead singer for the Marshall Tucker Band, and now the head of his new group, Southern Thunder, the veteran musician says he has seen three of the creatures in the Monongahela National Forest alone.

Actually, his first sighting came at age 8 when Allen, his parents, a sister and some neighbors spotted the curious creature in a tree in Chelyan, not far from his Marmet home, and watched it until darkness set in.

“It was almost as if you went to a zoo and had seen a spider monkey sitting in top of a tree,” he recalled.

“It just stood there. It was a young one, a juvenile, about 6 feet tall. My father suggested someone call a newspaper, but Mom said by the time the newspaper got there, it would be dark. Back then, few people had video cameras. It acted like a monkey would do. I never even thought of it being a Bigfoot at the time.”

To the uninitiated, Bigfoot, or Sasquatch, as he sometimes is known, is an ape-like creature and the object of serious research by man, and of scorn by some in the scientific community.

Years later, Allen would run into another one, this time with a girlfriend in tow at Kanawha State Forest.

“It was just sitting on the ground, on his butt, behind a big tree,” Allen said.

“It was leaning around, looking at me eye to eye. Apparently, it had heard a noise walking up the hollow.”

As soon as he made a move to get a closer look, Bigfoot had vanished.

By his own count, Allen says he has spied half a dozen of the mystical creatures, all of them in West Virginia.

“They have been seen in every state and every foreign country,” he said.

Allen is hooking up with Animal Planet for some filming in Flagstaff, Ariz., and also plays an integral role in a 3-D documentary produced by Goldenleaf and Pixar, this one due for release next spring.

“We’re going across the United States and getting the best of the best in there, the very best footage,” Allen said.

While many in the world of science scoff at the concept of such a creature surviving all these years, Allen is convinced Bigfoot is real.

“I know exactly what it is,” he said. “I have seen two species. The one in the Monongahela National Forest is called ‘gigantopithicus blacky.’ It was the largest of the large primates. Scientists at one point thought they became extinct 10,000 years ago.

“Anyone knows that it is impossible to predict the future of something becoming extinct without actually knowing this, and how can you absolutely know of something that is a nocturnal animal is extinct?”

Bolstering his personal research, Allen has engaged in a number of talks with anthropologist and animal welfare activist Jane Goodall.

Allen conducted more research this fall at Sherwood Lake in the Monongahela National Forest during what some scientists believe was the migration route.

“Some say they try to go down to warmer weather,” Allen said.

“I disagree with that. I have camped up there in two blizzards since 1993. I camped there once when it was 20 below, the other time at 30 below. I won’t ever go through that again.

“That was too much torture on the human body.”

If Bigfoot is real, is he human or animal?

“From all the DNA samples we get back, every time we send something in, it comes back 98 to 99 percent human and 1 to 2 percent unknown primate,” Allen says.

“It’s very human. It’s very intelligent. I’ve heard them speaking. It’s very hard to do. I’m a vocalist and it’s hard for me to do. If you can imagine, it’s like breathing in, then making tunnel sounds. It’s a communications noise.”

Allen recalled a camping trip when he and his family, inside a tent, heard a peculiar noise in the forest.

“We heard something that almost was like it was one talking to another outside my tent,” he said.

“It stood there for a good 10 to 15 minutes.”

Even his loyal Rottweiler and pit bull, which had never displayed a fear of anything, were “totally freaking out.”

“And the time we were up there camping in a blizzard, we heard the beating sound at the trees around us,” he said.

“It was so loud that if you took a drummer in dead silent woods and amplify that drummer with huge amplifiers, it would be the loudest noise you could imagine. An hour before this happened, the dogs jumped in a tool box in the back of the pickup truck. They would not come out. It was the weirdest thing. I’ve never in my life seen a dog do this. I was trying to get them out of the tool box. But they wouldn’t come out.”

An hour later, the beating sound returned, and this time it sounded as if it were originating inside the tent.

“A few minutes later, we heard the same beating signal from across the lake,” Allen said. “We felt like we were being hunted. They are tremendous hunters.”

Allen says he has taken numerous photographs of nests that Bigfoot fashions from twisting sapling trees together, not unlike the way birds do, except on a bigger scale.

“They’re almost like a bird nest, but upside down with a bunch of leaves inside for bedding,” he said.

“And most of these nesting areas are right off a trail. I’ve encountered dozens of them. They’re usually closer to you than what you think they are. There’s a reason for this. Deer will follow a trail. It’s quiet. They’re not going to walk through the woods and make as much noise when they’re on a trail. Usually, those trails follow creeks or river beds. Those are prime drinking and hunting areas for the Bigfoots.”

Another tell-tale sign of Bigfoots are stacks of rocks in bizarre places inside a forest, he says, affording the creatures a good vantage point from which to stage an ambush.

Bigfoot is known to have attacked humans, Allen says.

“I’ve personally had rocks thrown at me. I’ve got a lot of witnesses on this. All of a sudden, a rock will be hurled at you. You’re out in the middle of nowhere in the dead of winter, and when they go by your head, it sounds almost like the same velocity as someone slinging a rock with a slingshot right past your head.”

Once, in the company of his son, Allen says, he spotted two of them ripping trees apart, either for the bark or the grubs.

“We stopped behind a rock, stood there for 20 minutes,” he recalled. “We couldn’t move. We just stood there in awe. As soon as they stepped into the darkness of a tree line, they were gone. They had vanished into the darkness of it. You could be looking into the woods directly at one and it almost looks like a shadow standing in the woods. You would never know it until it moves. This large one stepped out, about 12 to 13 feet tall, and as soon as that one came out, I told my son we had better run back to the camper as fast as we could about three quarters of a mile. We ran nonstop.”

Explaining Bigfoot is another matter.

And in this realm, Allen has been given some ideas from Bible readers, citing the passage in Genesis 6:4, “there were giants in the earth in those days ...”

“There are several locations in the Bible where there were large men that once existed that became extinct,” Allen said.

“They were considered to be giants on the earth. I’m not saying David fought one of these Bigfoots or whatever. There are a lot of humans out there that have a gene problem where their face is covered with hair. I’m not saying they’re Bigfoots or descendants of Bigfoot at all. But I’m saying that thousands of DNA samples came back and they were 98 to 99 percent human and 1 percent unknown primate. You’d think that’s too close, but it’s not. That 1 percent makes a huge difference, especially if you look at the genes scale. But they’re close enough to be human. They have a lot of human traits. They walk upright.”

One major distinction is the foot.

“How you can bend your hand is how their feet are,” he explained. “Their feet actually bend in the center. You can tell a fake footprint when you see one.

“People have actually come out and tried to fake people with hoaxes,” he added. “If it doesn’t have the midtarsal break in the foot, it’s a fake.”

Perhaps, he theorized, Bigfoot’s descendants have learned over generations to avoid human contact, explaining his shy ways in the forests until he feels threatened.

A hunter in 1785 captured one with help from Native American friends and promptly named it the “hideous creature,” wrapping it in binds and parading it through the streets of a town.

If he ever catches up with another Bigfoot, the musician says, he would attempt to communicate, but, taking Goodall’s advice, won’t look him directly in the eyes. He tested her on this at a zoo and found that a baboon was perfectly calm as long as he was watched from an angle, but the moment eye contact was made, the animal went ballistic.

“It’s a form of territorial gesture,” he said of eye contact.

“You could be some sort of a threat. I looked at that baboon eye to eye. He was behind a cage. I wiggled my eyes as he looked at me. He stretched his arm as far as he could and flashed his incisors at me.”

And Bigfoot, so all the accounts go, is much, much bigger than a baboon.

NOTE: this is an interesting theory. The reports of large hominid sightings in West Virginia have increased over the years. The state itself is still a very wild wilderness in many areas and offers excellent habitat and cover for Bigfoot during the less severe seasons...Lon

CAVE DWELLER

FROM THE DENVER POST

DESERT CAVE DWELLER GETS BY WITHOUT ANY MONEY!
(How many could do that? Something to think about!)

MOAB, UTAH - Daniel Suelo gets the same question, all the time.

"Why?"

The 48-year-old kneels in front of the desert of the desert cave he calls home, sips cedar tea from a chipped mug and explains, again, why he has intentionally lived the past nine years without using money.

It's instinctual to live without money; it's the way we were born, he says. It's political. The addiction to money fuels corruption, he says, and he refuses to support a corrupt system. There's also a spiritual basis for his life, a philosophical framework.

"The understanding that, really, we all possess nothing is the cornerstone of all spiritual endeavors and religions," he says.

And there are health reasons. Suelo, who was born with the last name Shellabarger, is unfettered with worries about a mortgage or bills or income. Tanned, with a mop of gray locks framing his Buddy Holly glasses, he is a picture of contentment, his lithe frame stretched in the fall sun amid prickly pear cactus and red rock.

"I think taking things as they come naturally is the key to good health," he says.

A decade ago, Suelo was dizzy with depression. His University of Colorado degree in anthropology wasn't fulfilling. He had just returned from two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador. He was disillusioned with his job working at homeless shelters and enclaves for battered women in Denver and Boulder.

Eventually he concluded his growing despair was tied to fretting over his financial ability to maintain his stuff. Stuff, he realized, he didn't need. So, he gave it all away.

"We use all our energy to maintain our possessions, and it becomes an ugly cycle," he says.

He doesn't barter or work for food or rent. Barter is another form of money, and Suelo doesn't deal with any form of currency. Today, he embraces an ascetic life of "art and philosophizing." He's hardly the growling hermit, instead circling town on his trash-bin-built bike, engaging a wide circle of pals.

"He's truly the happiest person I have ever met. He is so deeply peaceful, it's contagious," says Damian Nash, Suelo's college roommate and a high school teacher in Moab. "He is living proof that money can't buy happiness."

Every summer when the heat in Moab reaches unbearable -- especially for a cave-dweller -- Suelo hits the road, visiting friends and gatherings along the West Coast, where he is known only as "Suelo."

"I have no idea what the future holds, and I don't worry about it. But the longer I do this, it seems absurd to go back," he says. "It would be like going back to slavery. There's just too much of a price to pay."

His cozy cave is an hour's stroll from town.

Maybe 15 feet by 5 feet, the one man crevice is crammed with buckets holding a few days worth of rice and beans, books and cooking pots.

The hole in the wall is tidy, with his bedroll neatly folded into a nook. Cupped ridges on the wall hold knickknacks. While the cave carries a strong smell of patchouli oil, Suelo doesn't import any odoriferous whiff of homelessness. He bathes daily in the stream below his cave. His clothes -- which he found in the trash -- are uncommonly formal for a man who camps year round. Dress shoes and slacks, shirt buttoned to the top and a fresh widebrimmed hat form a Suelo style that is more Bohemian chic than homeless bum.

Suelo lives an abundant albeit frugal life, thriving on the waste of a small town. Every week, he inspects Moab's trash, finding more than he needs. Supermarket throwaways keep him well-fed. He eats healthily, often eschewing the abundant supply of day-old doughnuts or expired sweets -- although he says, chocolate is "my gold."

The wild onions, watercress, prickly pear fruit, serviceberries, globe mallow and pine nuts that grow near his home add fresh-grown flair to the trash-bin-derived dishes he cooks over fire-branded coffee cans molded into stoves. He occasionally cooks roadkill gathered around Moab, and says he has never fallen ill from spoiled food.

The piles of trash behind Moab's half-dozen self-storage facilities provide a steady supply of clothes, tools, bedding and utensils.

"People don't realize how much perfectly good stuff is thrown away with just a blemish," he says, "Even after all these years, I'm still asking myself, 'Why would anyone throw this out?'"

He used to bristle when he heard people call him a mooch, a leech or sponge off society. The occasional "get a job" comments from friends, family and readers of his blog (which he writes from computers in public libraries) don't bother him much anymore. He says he has stopped worrying about what people think about him.

Filmmaker Gordon Stevenson a few years ago made a short documentary about Suelo called "Moneyless in Moab." Response to the film was largely positive but varied. A few thought he was insane. Others saw a conflict in Suelo's rejection of money but dependent on a society anchored in commerce.

"His lifestyle does depend on a group of people using money, and some people saw this as a contradiction, but Daniel comes out pretty clearly that he is a parasite of sorts,"Stevenson says. "Some people were angered by the idea that using money leaves you tainted or immoral. But I don't think Daniel thinks like that. You might think he is, but he's not judgmental."

Nash hears often from people who harbor hostility toward his friend.

"I think he makes people angry because they have this belief that if only they had a little more money, they'd be happy," Nash says. "His lifestyle is a challenge to their Holy Grail, the American consumer capitalist dream."

There is one thing that makes Suelo seethe: store owners or police who tell him he can't search a bin of garbage "for his own safety." He's had plenty of run-ins with both, but not so much in Moab, where he is well known.

"They seem so mad about it. If they want to be livid about something, how about how much food we throw away," he says. "I know that there is enough food to feed a village in one Dumpster behind Wal-Mart or Sam's. All I'm taking is a few crumbs falling from this opulent table."

UFO CRASH INFORMATION

On Wednesday Nov. 25th while hiking the area of Kettle Moraine State Park (Wisconsin) a friend and I noticed a strong sulfuric odor coming from the woods. Looking down we saw what appeared to be a small craft at the bottom of a hill. Upon further investigation we found that the damage to the craft consisted only of a few dents and scratches. My companion and I returned later with a large flat bed tow and full bio hazard suits, covered the thing completely with tarp and hauled it to locked refrigerated storage.

We photographed the object on site but I had to remove all color from the photograph just to be able to see it as everything in the photo had a deep blue color. We also photographed the stump the craft had landed on and that photo also came out blue. The attached photo will allow you all to at least get an idea of the size and shape of the craft.

We were unable to open the craft and from the available window we could only see 4 coffin like objects which appear to be made out of the same titanium like substance as the craft itself.

I fully recognize the value of such an object and am therefore offering it for sale to the highest bidder.

I will warn you all that the smell of sulfur is intolerable especially in the enclosed storage area and because of this we will not be showing this object unless all involved are safely attired in full bio hazard suits and masks.
Further information on the craft's exact location will not be released to anyone other than serious inquirers able to afford such a unique find. We will not risk our health for mere "curiosity seekers"! For more information contact:

A SIGHTING COMPARABLE TO YESTERDAYS LETTER I SENT YOU

MY DREAM - WAS IT A PRELUDE TO REALITY?

July 10, 1981

I was walking down a city block. I could see tall buildings to my right side and then a vacant space.

Kristine, my friend, was in the next block walking ahead of me. All of a sudden a space ship came swooping in an arc over our heads. As it went by I could see the Beings inside piloting the ship.

The ship was shaped like a rocket. It had a RED TAIL. In the front the window was quite large and I could see a “steering wheel!” It looked like one was piloting it and two were sitting behind him.

I yelled at Kris, “Did you see that?!!” She said yes and I started waving at them.

At this point it went into another 360 degree arc and as it completed the circle it went “poof”, “poof”, “poof”. like the light Dan and I saw over the airport in Seattle. At that point it produced another ship at each poof. From that last poof there was another huge “poof” and this produced silver colored Beings with heads in the shape of a star without facial features. They appeared everywhere. Around each one was a glow produced from the force they gave off.

Everyone died around us (“I didn’t see that but I knew it.”) except Kristine and I. At this time I could feel the electrical prickles on my body but it didn’t hurt me. I said to Kris, “I know now why our chemistry was changed. To enable us to withstand their force. I felt they were landing in masse to stay.

REALITY - ARE THEY FROM OUTER SPACE?

September 16, 1981 - The Advocate, Red Deer, Alberta, Canada

If you think you’ve seen a UFO over Central Alberta within the last few months, don’t rush out to seek professional help - someone else says he’s been seeing them too.

It may not be Close Encounters - but a Sylvan Lake man says he has seen three different UFOs since late July.

“What is that? What’s going on? Are these ships from outer space or just the Americans fooling around?” asks Stan Haywood.

Mr. Haywood lives on an acreage on the Half Moon Bay road 4.5 km west of Sylvan Lake and works in Red Deer on a ward at the Michener Centre.

His first sighting was on July 22 about 2:30 p.m.

“I was driving into work and I saw this flashing in the sky to the east.”

It was a cloudy day, he says, and as he looked out his vehicle window he saw “a stainless steel circular object with a disc on top that was whirling counter-clockwise and pipes coming out of it.”

The second sighting was Sept. 6.

Mr. Haywood says he was standing in his backyard when he saw an object hovering about 300 metres above the ground between two rows of trees.

“I had time to run in the house and get my binoculars, and it still hadn’t moved by the time I got back out.

“It was about half as long as a DC-8, but it didn’t have any wings although something was sticking out the sides. And it had a fin-like tail
with a red stripe down the back part of it.

“If planes traveled that slow, they would never stay up. The only thing it could be is a helicopter but there was no noise from it.”

The third object was sighted Sept. 4 about 6:40 a.m. Mr. Haywood says he was on his way to work and was stopped at a red light in southwest Red Deer.

“It didn’t have any shape to it, it just looked like a real bright star.”

He estimates the object was about 1.5 km away, and slowly moving in a southwesterly direction.

“It was flying about as low as a small plane would fly,” he says.

“It looked like a real bright star, although I’ve never seen a star like that at that time of day.”

Mr. Haywood says he can’t explain what these objects are, or why he keeps seeing them.

“It’s something where you’re just looking around and just happen to see. There’s no noise to attract your attention.”

Not one of his friends or neighbors has mentioned seeing anything like this to Mr. Haywood.

“I told the guys at work and they said I should report it.

“But people think you’re wacky seeing things like this.”
__________

So why did I have a dream previous to this sighting observing the same type of craft? Was it precognition or what?
