WHO WAS THAT MAN?

George Adamski was the first to claim contact with extra terrestrials.

Adamski's case presents an enigma. Although an anathema to scientists, still there is an event that took place after his demise that leaves one perplexed.

Adamski died of a heart attack on April 23, 1965 in Silver Springs, Maryland.

At the time he was visiting Madeline Rodeffer, who had also taken movies of the identical craft as Adamski had photographed at Mt. Palomar Gardens in California. (This is not the enigma however!)

On April 24, 1965 in a remote field near Scoriton, England, gardener Arthur Bryant was dramatically confronted with a situation completely beyond his comprehension - a huge flying saucer and its three occupants.

Bryant had gone for a walk around 5:30 pm as he often did. Upon arriving at the Down, he turned to look back at Scoriton and as he did so a large saucer like object appeared out of thin air over a field.

"I must confess that my first reaction was to turn tail and run really hard, but some influence seemed to suggest I remain where I was. The saucer rose a few feet or so and then, swinging like a pendulum to the left then to the right and then to the left again before leveling out and becoming stationary thirty yards away over the field in front of me; there it hovered about three feet above the ground. A door slid up into the roof from the center and three figures appeared from it all dressed alike in what I took to be diving gear. After watching me for a few minutes, one of the three beckoned me, with both arms outstretched. Somehow I had lost my original fear and climbed over the iron gate to the fence separating the field from the lane."

What followed then was completely baffling to Bryant. Two of the beings had extremely high foreheads which came to a point. Their features were thin and sallow and there was no facial hair. Eyebrows and eyelashes were fair and fine and their hair, which was longer than ours, was between a blond and a mousy color. The nose was squat and the eyes very blue in color with a vertical cat-like pupil. Each had four fingers but no thumbs.

The third person had a normal appearance - there was nothing to distinguish him from you or I. He had short brown hair, very dark brown eyes and appeared to be a youth of between fourteen and fifteen years of age. The three wore suits of a silvery color that rustled like tin foil when they moved. "The young one's suit struck me as being too large and the belt too loose." The boots were similar to ours in design having two straps, one at the toe and one at the ankle; the soles were very thick - approximately one and one half inches. When they moved no sound was heard.

The youth seemed to be in charge. "My name is Yamski" (or something close to that). "I thought he was Russian but he had an American accent."

Yamski gave several messages but Bryant had no idea what they meant. The things Yamaski said were completely foreign.

For Desmond Leslie, who co-authored "Flying Saucers Have Landed," with Adamski, they had a great meaning. Only Desmond Leslie, when he eventually heard them would understand, as they were directed to "Des Les" which is what Adamski frequently called Desmond Leslie.

The three also said they would bring proof of Capt. Thomas Mantel's plane that had crashed while chasing a UFO. They did bring parts (like new but with fresh grease or lubricant on them) that were identified as being off the same type of plane.

George Adamski had said to persons close to him that he would have a young boy's body waiting for him when he died.

Many of the "abductees/contactees" have seen identical replicas of themselves on board the ship at the time they were abducted. They have been told that these bodies are waiting for them.

Could it have been that Adamski really was telling the truth about his contact with alien beings? WHO WAS THAT MAN?

UFOs and KATCHINAS

Argentina

5-1-2009

From "All News Web"

Katchinas in Argentina?
Uncanny similarities between pictographs, Katsinam and... robots!
Special report by Sandra Rodríguez-Beauchamp (sarodgz@gmail.com) for All News Web

The pictographs shown above are found in Argentina, in “The Cave of the Spirits”, one of several grottos in Cura Malal, part of Sierra de la Ventana, a mountain range rising East of La Pampa, in the Buenos Aires province.
Argentinian scholar Fabio Picasso wrote about them in an essay on Mapuche spiritual traditions published in the Latin American Fortean Files website. There is a striking similarity of the pictograph on the left with a Hopi Masa’u Katsina from Harvard’s Peabody Museum katsinam collection. In both the “techno-pictos” and the wood carving we are faced with designs that look a whole lot like our contemporary idea of a robot.
Is that what they were meant to represent? We have no way of confirming it, but we do know that, to this date, people from the Sierra de la Ventana area keep witnessing lights in the sky, with UFO watchers continually informing about it in Argentinian publications and websites, as well as USA and European sites. Here we use as a backdrop for the art inserts, a photo of a UFO over the La Ventana mountain range, published by Raúl Oscar Chavez from CIUFOS, La Pampa.
We also know that the Hopi Elders spoke to researcher Frank Waters (Book of the Hopi, Penguin Books, 1977) of how, upon arriving to the Fouth World, their ancestors were asked to follow Masau’s star all the way to the South before they could go up North to Oraibi, their promised land, which was at that time deep under ice.
These amazing examples from the Mapuche and the Hopi legacies are indeed suggestive of ancient Indoamerican connections. In the quoted essay by Fabio Picasso, the author establishes a relation between the “power stone” of the Mapuche chiefs, the Cura Malal cave, and the uncanny spiritual and physical power of Calfucurá, the Mapuche leader who reigned and loved and fought until he died resisting occupation at his very vigorous 108 years of age, and then only because he was betrayed. Researcher Picasso includes what seems to be a lead to a deeper understanding of the subject, found in a traditional Mapuche poem:
Song to Nahuelcheu
Brother, my dear brother,
Let’s go to Curamalal,
Let’s extract remedy from the portal
Then, then we shall be valiant
Brother of mine, dear one,
If we extract the remedy from the portal,
Then we shall be valiant,
Brother of mine, dear one.

THE ALLAGASH ABDUCTIONS

Allagash, Maine - August 20, 1976

Posted: 14 Apr 2009 07:13 AM PDT

The Allagash Abduction video presented by 'Unsolved Mysteries'.

The Allagash Waterway is a series of lakes and canals in the breathtaking mountains of Maine. This lovely area would be the site of one of the most discussed and best documented alien abduction cases on record. A dramatized version was featured on the "Unsolved Mysteries" television show.

The Allagash incident would involve multiple witnesses, four to be exact, twin brothers Jack and Jim Weiner, along with their friends Chuck Rak and Charlie Foltz. The four men had met while studying at the Massachusetts College of Art, and they were all beginning their respective careers.

The four artists would turn into sportsmen for what they thought would be an enjoyable, relaxing trip. Their trip to Allagash would be memorable, but not for the reasons they had hoped for.

It would be in August 1976, that the four men began their vacation, and part way through their canoeing, they reached Eagle Lake, padding to it's mouth to do some fishing. Not having any luck, and running low on food, they decided to try some night fishing. Before leaving the bank, they built an extremely large campfire to be a landmark light from the water.

After a time on the lake, the four suddenly saw a light... a light that seemed much brighter than a star. The glowing orb was hovering over the trees a couple of hundred yards away. The object changed colors as it moved back and forth; red, then green, then a whitish yellow.

The massive object was estimated to be about 80 feet in diameter. The object slowly moved across the tops of the trees along the bank, and as it came closer to the four fishermen, Charlie Foltz signaled an SOS with his flashlight. Immediately, the object silently moved toward the canoe.

The men's description of the aliens was consistent, and being artists, they were able to make detailed sketches of the entities, the craft, and the examining instruments. Chuck Rak added that the aliens' test area was similar to a vet's office, with a silvery table. He also related a strange fact: he had much difficulty in focusing on the aliens. When he tried, he could not put an exact image to them.

He compared it to trying to tune in a fuzzy radio station. After the psychiatric examinations, all four of the men were deemed to be mentally stable, and they all passed lie-detector tests. All of the information gleaned from the detailed hypnotic sessions, and investigative reports provide strong evidence that something "not of this world" was encountered by these four men on the Allagash Waterway in 1976. This case is still considered unexplainable by conventional scientific means.

(Allagash The Event written by B J Booth)

Aftermath:

When you chat with Anthony Constantino, there's always one inevitable question: "Do you believe them?" "Them" is a group of four friends who went camping on the Allagash Waterway in northern Maine in the summer of 1976.

Maybe you saw them recently on the Joan Rivers Show, where they detailed an ordeal in which they claimed they had a close encounter with a UFO.

They are receiving national attention with the release this summer of "The Allagash Abductions" written by Raymond Fowler of Wenham who is a director of investigations for the Mutual UFO Network.

Those who are familiar with this case know that the full story, with all its mysterious and harrowing details, wasn't revealed until Anthony Constantino of Beverly placed the four men under hypnosis, and revealed events that had been pushed into their unconscious.

"It was the most intense experience I've had as a hypnotist," says Constantino.

The conscious part of the story begins on Thursday, August 26, 1976, when the four men - Chuck Rak, Charlie Foltz, and identical twins Jim and Jack Weiner, set up camp on Eagle Lake in Maine, and decided to go fishing in the evening. They built a huge bonfire to act as a beacon for their return to camp.

Soon after they were out in their canoe, they saw "a large bright sphere of colored light hovering motionless and soundless about 200 to 300 feet above the southeastern rim of the cove," according to Rak.

Foltz blinked a flashlight at the object. Maybe that was a bad idea. The UFO began to approach the canoe, while a cone-shaped beam of light from the object struck the water and began following the canoe. More inspired than any Olympic athletes, the four campers began paddling for shore.

But the beam engulfed them, and the next thing they remembered, they were in the canoe, near the shore of the lake, watching the UFO ascend and disappear.

The bonfire was now nothing more than embers. Built with heavy logs, the fire should have lasted hours. It was the first indication that more time had elapsed than they could remember, but they had no conscious memory of what had happened.

It was years later before the four men explored that missing period of time. When Jim Weiner suffered tempero-limbic epilepsy, his doctors asked him to report any unusual experiences that might be symptomatic.

Weiner described his UFO experience, and various phenomena that had happened to him and his camping buddies since then. His doctors suggested he contact a UFO researcher.

Enter Anthony Constantino. A professional hypnotist from Beverly, who also works as an English teacher at Masconomet High School, Constantino had hypnotized Ray Fowler in 1988, helping him to remember the details of Fowler's own alleged abduction in Danvers.

Fowler was leading the investigation of the Allagash abductions for the Mutual UFO Network, and he wanted Constantino to hypnotize each of the four men separately.

All four men were willing to participate.

"It's natural," says Constantino. "They wanted to know if something had happened to them -- especially if it were something traumatic. They wanted to know for sure."

In 1989, in the dark den of Constantino's Beverly home, each of the four men separately recounted a tale of being beamed aboard the UFO that night on Eagle Lake.

Under hypnosis, they described the diffusely lit, sterile interior of the spacecraft, the spindly fingered big-eyed bald-headed aliens that Whitley Strieber popularized with his non-fiction book "Communion," and strange medical experiments conducted on each man.

Constantino says Fowler was cool and professional as he observed the 12 hours of hypnosis sessions, but Constantino admits that at times he had difficulty repressing his own astonishment.

"I'm the one who kept making faces at Ray, like, I can't believe this. I can't believe what was done to these guys."

Which brings us back to The Question. Constantino conducted three-hour hypnosis sessions with each of the four men. He heard their voices fill with fear as they explained how medical instruments were inserted into their bodies, and how communication from the aliens was telepathic.

Constantino says he went into the session "with no preconceived notions," nothing more than a healthy curiosity about an unexplained phenomenon.

But was he convinced?

"Do you believe them?" Constantino is asked.

He pauses and rubs his chin, as if weighing the gravity of the question.

He looks up and nods solemnly. "I do," he says. After working with those guys, I was scared. I still am. I think it's true. I think they were being tagged -- the way we tag and study sharks and bears and then release them.

The men were highly indignant that they were taken (aboard) and these things were done to them without their permission.

MICHELLE

I had a conscious abduction experience a few months ago... at least I was conscious when it started. I had just turned off my lamp and was lying in bed listening to the radio when I suddenly heard this roaring sound in my head... like a waterfall. Then I felt a tingling sensation, almost electrical, starting at my head and working it's way down my body. My body felt weightless and it felt as if it was actually rising up off the bed. I was paralyzed, unable to move. I remember thinking, Oh no... it's happening again... I know what this is."

Then my body started to slowly turn. My head was at the foot of my bed. It continued to turn and as my head was back at the headboard, I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It looked like a thin, gray arm was starting to protrude from thin air. First I saw the fingers and hand... then part of the arm. At this point I got angry. I tried to yell but I couldn't. So I yelled in my head, "get out of here!"

At that point it felt as if the paralysis was broken. I grabbed for the arm (don't ask me why... till this day I can't explain why I did it) and got my fingers around it. It felt dry and brittle.. as if I could snap it in two with very little force.

Then as suddenly as it started, it disappeared... poof! I thought I had stopped the abduction. But I woke up the next morning with two bruise puncture marks on my right arm. This was the fourth time I have seen these same marks... always after an abduction experience.

I can't tell you for sure who or what was involved with this abduction. Under hypnosis, I was able to recall seeing something that reminded me of a spider with an insectoid type head... something I had never recalled seeing prior to this. I'd be interested in hearing from others that may have had similar experiences.

AN OHIO FAMILY EXPERIENCES UNEXPLAINED PHENOMENA

By Brent Raynes

I recently received the following two fascinating emails from a woman named Becky who lives in Ohio. She and her family had experienced some strange phenomena that were similar to what author Brad Steiger described in the December 2007 No. 119 issue of this magazine (www.mysterious-america.net/the divinefire.html). She wrote:

I am a 45 year old, mother of 4 children. After a strange occurrence at our house this evening (February 15, 2009), which involves a glowing green light in my boy's bedroom, they asked that I search the net to see what I could find. I came across an article written by Brad Steiger regarding his book "The Divine Fire." By the time I finished reading the article I had tears streaming down my cheeks, as I felt that I was reading about myself, especially by the time that I got to the part about hearing the most beautiful celestial music and the heavenly voices. I have been hearing this music for years, took music lessons for five years, but to this day I am unable to read or write music notes. I have had numerous paranormal experiences, psychic dreams, and unexplainable occurrences happen throughout my life.

Although, I have learned to deal with the fact that I am sent these messages for a reason, and it is usually for the good of others. My family has learned not to question me when I tell them that something is going to happen, like "Don't drive down this road today" or "Your fish are going to die, all but the big one," etc., etc. Sure enough there's an accident on that road and yes, the fish died, all but the big one.

My husband and I have also had visits from the hooded figure in our bedroom where my husband punched right through him; although, he did not speak. At the time, my mother-in-law had recently passed away so we thought that the hooded figure was a messenger from Hell. LOL Needless to say, she was not a nice woman!!

As a young child (1967-1969) I received normal visits from what I called "The Little Green Men" and several visits from what I called "The Secret Agents," as they were small gray figures with large black eyes and were not as friendly as the little green men. I was able to give a lot of detail on the ships that came to visit me; although, I am unable to remember the inside of the ship, but I do remember some of the probing and the other children sitting on smooth chrome looking benches that lined the edge of the room.

Anyway the strange part of the whole thing is that whenever I awoke to tell my Mom about my "dreams," there was also a UFO sighting reported on TV within several minutes of me finishing my story to my Mom. I remember my Mom sitting on he stool in front of the TV (we didn't have a remote) and she slowly turned around and looked at me like "How could she know that?" She always told me I had a very vivid imagination and didn't want to encourage me by talking about what had happened.

My point is that I thought I was the only person who experienced these things. And in my late teens things were happening so after that it scared me to the point that I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. I couldn't understand how I knew so many things and I couldn't control it. Then my sister said in a nice calm voice "Just let it happen and stop trying to control it." She was right. Obviously, these things were happening for a reason.

My children all have the same abilities that I do. They are also very "sensitive." Although, unlike my mother, we talk about it and they know it's OK. By reading Brad Steiger's article it has helped me to be more comfortable with the "green light" incident tonight.

My boys had gone to bed and said they were just drifting off when for some reason they both woke up and looked at the wall in their bedroom when they saw a green orb about the size of a baseball on the wall. After watching it for about 30 seconds, my 15 year old son got out of bed and actually poked it. He then cupped his hand over it to make sure that it wasn't a reflection. He said it felt warm. It moved around the room, changed from an orb shape to the shape of a glow stick, then vibrated and made a wavy line, then changed back to an orb. At this time, my husband was going up the stairs to see what all of the commotion was about and yelled to the boys. They said as soon as he yelled the orb zapped and disappeared into the wall. Soon after all 4 of my kids came running downstairs to get me. I had never encountered anything like this before so I was telling them it was probably just a reflection on the wall. I went into their bedroom, closed the door, just as before so the room was pitch black, and all of us laid on the bottom bunk to wait for it to happen again, but to no avail. Needless to say, my boys slept with their bedroom door OPEN tonight!

I would like to correspond with Brad Steiger to find out if he has had any recent occurrences with green lights, and if so, what was the outcome? I try to stay calm in handling this situation with my kids, but honestly, I've been getting some really strange vibes tonight (the hair on the sides of my head keeps standing on end) and I know they're coming back. It's not my welfare I'm worried about, it's my kids.

I guess I should have mentioned that I was struck by lightning while standing in my kitchen on August 16, 2008 and I'm still here. LOL What a mind blowing experience, to say the least!! I seem to be a lot more "sensitive" since this occurred. I hadn't been picking up very much for a long time. Now I seem to be over sensitive and it really wears me out.

When I was 16 my Mom purchased an antique 4 poster bed for me at an auction. The majority of the furniture in my bedroom was antiques. I can't remember how long I'd had the bed before I started seeing a ghost in my bedroom. She would sit on the bed and motion for me to come to her with her finger. It bothered me at first, but then I got used to her showing up unexpectedly, until one night when I woke up because I could feel someone lying next to me. I could hear them breathing. That's all it took!! I went running downstairs, because I knew that my sister, who slept in the next room, wasn't home yet. (You have to understand, I'm not a cry baby, but at the same time I was also having a lot of dreams, you know the ones that end up happening. Like deja vu's that last for 5 minutes in front of total strangers, so you know what the conversation is before it even starts, but it is happening so frequently that it scares you to death because you can't understand why all of this is happening so you start crying when they ask you a question and you say, "I'm sorry, I can't answer you because I already know what I'm supposed to say." And they just stand there and look at you like "What is this girl on??")

Anyway, when my sister got home she found me crying in the living room and asked me what was wrong. I said I didn't want to talk about it because I had to get up early for work, but asked her to come upstairs with me so I could get some sleep. The next afternoon when I returned from work, there sat both of my sisters and my Mom at the kitchen table staring at me. My sister asked what was wrong with me the night before. I said, "Never mind, you won't believe me anyway!" They finally got me to tell them what had happened. My Mom and my oldest sister thought I was making it up. So then my Mom tells my Aunt Karen, who at the time lived in Garrettsville, Ohio, and she asked my Mom where the bed came from. My Mom said, "I bought it at Ralphl's auction in Garrettsville." My aunt said, "Well Nancy, you know that house is haunted!! There was a whole article on the front page of the Akron Beacon Journal about it!" So to make a long story short, I called Ralph ___. He said this girl (the ghost) didn't sound familiar to him but that he'd bought the bed in Brady Lake, which is where I was living at the time. It turns out that about 12 years later, unbeknownst to both of us, we met again and ended up working together for 5 years. We were the best of friends; although, we had had a falling out about a year before he passed away. Several days prior to his death, a mutual friend (who served as a family doctor for both of us) urged me to contact Ralph before it was too late. I finally got up the nerve to call Ralph and we both wept over the phone, regretting loosing the time we could have spent as friends. We set up an appointment for the next day. I was going to visit him. Right as I was getting ready to walk out the door his friend called to say that I shouldn't bother coming over because he was so far gone he wouldn't even know I was there. That has been the biggest regret of my life! He passed away the next day. But the odd part of it all is that I knew exactly when he passed away because he came to see me at 10:15 p.m. on that Friday night. It was a strange trance that overcame me. I could feel him in the room. We talked for a while. He was just letting me know that he was OK and that everything was fine between us and not to have any regrets. The next morning I received a phone call from a mutual friend (Tom). I said you are calling to let me know that Ralph passed away last night at 10:15." He said, "Oh, somebody already called you?" I said "No... he was here." The phone was silent at the other end. Tom didn't really know what to say. Ralph still comes to visit me and we laugh and laugh. Just like the old days.

JOELLE'S CONTACT CASE

From Mr. X

by Timothy Good
(Story from Timothy Good's book - Alien Base)

Of all my case files involving extended contact with extraterrestrial, quasi-human beings, there are a few which I have found to be completely convincing. The following one involves a witness whom I knew as a friend for 30 years; a compelling case for contact, and one in which I believe the extraterrestrials did not impart any false information. That is not to say that I believe every word, for a few inconsistencies in the witness's story, owing to a tendency to embellish at times, emerged over the years. Because she was reluctant even to have the story published after her death, which occurred in 1995, I will refer to her only as Joelle.
Joelle was born in St Petersburg, Russia, of French and Russian parents, in 1914. During the Second World War she became a passive member of the Maquis, the French resistance to the Nazi occupation of France. After the war, she worked in Paris for the Ministry of Armaments, then came with her family to live in London. By a strange coincidence, her two daughters, Frederique and Isabelle, were roommates and friends of mine at the Arts Educational School, where, in addition to the usual curriculum, we studied acting and dance (1952-53), and it was then that I first met Joelle. We were not to meet again until 1967, in the company of her husband and Lou Zinsstag, from whom I learned of Joelle's contact story.
It was in September 1963, when Joelle was in the Sheffield area conducting a house-to-house field survey for a market research company, of which she was a senior partner, that her extraordinary adventures began. The survey included questions relating to domestic appliances, and at one house she was struck by the number of very modern-looking gadgets in the living room, none of which was on the market. Queried about these, the lady of the house (whom I shall call Rosamund) responded that her husband was a scientist who regularly tested the latest devices to assess their practicability.
Joelle noticed a large radio transceiver, and was informed by Rosamund that her husband was an amateur radio ham who talked with people all over the world. To demonstrate, Rosamund turned the set on, then left the room temporarily. Hearing a very brief message in English, Joelle wrote it down on the back of her survey notepad. When Rosamund returned, Joelle said that a message had come through, but did not say that she had written it down. Looking suddenly shocked, Rosamund switched the set off, explaining that her husband would never forgive her if he knew she had turned it on without his permission.
Later, back at her hotel, Joelle pondered the message. 'Will be at Blue John tomorrow, 4.30 p.m. - Mark', it read. It meant nothing to her at first, but later she became intrigued and made a few equerries. 'Blue John' turned out to be the Blue John Caves near Castleton, in Derbyshire's Peak District, the name deriving from the French blue-jaune, given to the blue fluorspar mineral found in Derbyshire. Wondering if perhaps she had uncovered a spy-ring, Joelle determined to find out what was going on.

The Blue John Encounter

On the afternoon of Monday 16 September 1963, Joelle set off by car to return to London, via the Blue John Caves. Arriving in the vicinity of the caves at around 14.30, she parked in a vantage spot overlooking a mildly sloping valley, ate her packed lunch, then waited to see what might happen.
Shortly before 16.30, Joelle noticed a brilliant light in the sky, which she first took to be the Sun. It was moving, though, and when it came to rest, several hundred yards from her position, the brilliant glow ceased, and she could now see that it was a highly unusual disc-shaped aircraft, approximately 20 feet or so in diameter, supported on tripod landing legs with inverted mushroom-shaped pads on their earth-contacting ends. Beneath a cupola could be seen several circular windows. After a pause, a man - presumably 'Mark' - stepped out from the other side, dressed in a blue one-piece suit and a cloth helmet of some sort. Simultaneously, a man came out of the car parked some distance away and began walking down the slope towards the craft. Joelle recognized the car as the one that had been parked outside Rosamund's house. After the two men had greeted each other warmly, Mark turned towards the craft and signaled briefly to the other (presumed) crew member(s), then both men headed towards the car and drove away. The craft began to glow and lift off the ground, retracted its landing gear, hovering momentarily before shooting off at a fantastic speed.

A Safe House

At that time, Joelle did not accept the fact of flying saucers. She assumed that this was a highly advanced aircraft, perhaps of Soviet origin, its occupant a spy liaising secretly with Rosamund's husband. So she decided to wait before driving to Rosamund's house, finding out what she could, then perhaps reporting the matter to the police.
Half an hour later, she knocked at Rosamund's door. The scientist (whom I shall call Jack) opened the door cautiously and asked what she wanted. Joelle gave the excuse that she had interviewed his wife the day before and needed to double-check some questions. Jack made as if to close the door, but at that point Mark - now dressed in terrestrial clothes - interjected. 'That's alright, Jack,' he said, 'let her in.' Reluctantly, Jack opened the door and showed Joelle into the living room.
'Why don't you tell us the real reason why you're here?' began Mark.
'Because I need to check some questions with Rosamund for my market research survey.'
'That's not true, Mrs -----.'
Joelle swore to herself.
'Tut, tut, said Mark, teasingly. 'You shouldn't swear like that.'
How had he known that she had sworn?
'You came here,' continued Mark, 'because you saw my craft and wanted to find out what was going on, didn't you?'
Reluctantly, Joelle admitted the truth. And from then on, she was 'let in' on the alleged alien liaison. The discussion that night lasted well into the small hours. At first incredulous, she gradually accepted the sensational truth: that Mark was indeed a man from another world. For the next 15 months or so, Joelle had a total of about eight and a half hours of meetings with Mark and another member of his race, a man who, because of his deep voice sounded like that of the actor Valentine Dyall, was given the name of 'Val'. These meetings reportedly took place at several locations in England, including at least two in Joelle's London flat, near Earls Court.

Alien Bases

Joelle told me that, having no knowledge of the subject at the time, she began asking some 'rather stupid' questions. Later, after reading a few books, she was able to make more sophisticated inquiries. Her first question, naturally, related to the origin of the visitors. This was one of a number of things that Mark and Val politely refused to discuss in precise terms: they responded merely that they came from a planet, similar in many ways to Earth, located in another solar system. They also stated that we are not alone in our solar system, and implied that they had bases on two (unspecified) moons of Jupiter. Interestingly, it was reported in 1997 that signs of life, in the form of molecules containing carbon and nitrogen, had been detected on two of Jupiter's largest moons, Ganymede and Callisto, based on data gathered by NASA's Galileo spacecraft. For many years, some astrophysicists have speculated that life might exist in the warm water lying beneath the frozen surface of Europa, the smallest of Jupiter's moons. Thousands of years ago, said Mark and Val, their people had bases on Mars and the Moon. They also revealed that they had a number of bases on Earth, located in South America, Australia, the Soviet Union and elsewhere (though not in the United Kingdom).
Although Homosapiens originated on Earth, the visitors explained that, to speed up human evolution, they had on two occasions genetically 'interfered' with us. While similar in appearance, Earth humans and extraterrestrial humans evolved separately. Because of their advanced evolution, aliens live longer than Earth people. Val and Mark were extremely refined, fair-skinned, with perfect teeth and a not immediately noticeable peculiarity about the eyes. On one occasion, Joelle says she saw, though did not meet, a dark-skinned man who was a member of the same group.
Mark and Val said they were liaising in great secrecy with a team of scientists from several nations, having initially established their English contacts through Jack eight years earlier. None of those names was ever revealed to me. In addition to Jack, Joelle met two other such scientists, one of whom worked at the Woomera rocket range in Australia, set up jointly with Britain at the end of the Second World War. As to the purpose of the extraterrestrial missions, this was another question that they declined to answer precisely. 'We are not here for entirely philanthropic purposes,' was all they volunteered on one occasion. Whatever the mission, it demanded considerable dedication from the scientists, some of whom ostensibly worked with the aliens at the bases, or even (on rare occasions) traveled to their planet, necessitating their going 'missing'. Ideally, therefore, those without family responsibilities were involved.
In Alien Liaison, I discussed an alleged alien base located at, or in the vicinity of, Pine Gap, America's most secret facility in Australia, some 15 miles from Alice Springs. According to information supplied by Professor J.D. Frodsham in 1989, three hunters returning from an all night trip witnessed a 'camouflaged door open up in the grounds of the base and a metallic circular disk ascend vertically and soundlessly into the air before disappearing at great speed'.
Officially a 'Joint Defense Space Research Facility' sponsored by both the American and the Australian defense departments, Pine Gap serves principally as a down link site for reconnaissance and surveillance satellites. It was established by the Central Intelligence Agency in 1966 and is run jointly by the CIA and the National Security Agency (NSA). According to one American observer: 'The Australians have accorded the [Pine Gap] facility remarkable hospitality. People and cargo routinely fly in and out, entering and exiting without the burden of customs or immigration checks. The place enjoys almost extra-territorial status.' According to one of my sources, formerly a CIA employee, Alice Springs is considered to be a 'reward' posting - which is not to say that an actual alien base exists, or did exist, at Pine Gap. Nevertheless, there are some intriguing early references to the alleged existence of such a base, located '1,400 miles from Sydney' (which could place it in the Alice Springs area), in letters written by George Adamski. In 1951, for example, he wrote to a correspondent as follows:

"Under very interesting circumstances I had previously been told of a big space laboratory 1,400 miles from Sydney [which] has been in operation for the past three years. I was made to understand that space ships could be landing there [and that] a communication system could be going on through this laboratory between Earthmen and spacemen . . . It wasn't given to me as definite fact, but as a possibility from which I was to draw my own conclusions."

If there is any truth to this rumor, the implication is that the laboratory was functioning in about 1948, years before Pine Gap was officially known as a satellite intelligence-gathering and relay base. In replies to questions from the same correspondent a few months later, Adamski explained that he had acquired the information in 1949 from a scientist attached to the Chilean government, a former commanding officer in the Chilean Air Force. 'A communication system is definitely going on,' wrote Adamski, 'not only there but in [the United States] as well.
Regarding the existence of alien bases in the United States, in January 1952, prior to his first contact in the Californian desert in November that year, Adamski spoke with a marine engineer from Alaska who claimed that spacecraft regularly landed in a certain area in that state. According to the unnamed engineer, the 'space people' he saw ranged in height from three to six and half feet.
I include the foregoing information from Adamski for three reasons: first, it pre-dates any publication relating to the existence of alien bases on our planet. Secondly, as discussed in Chapter 7, Joelle claimed to have met a similar group of extraterrestrials to those who contacted Adamski in 1952 (and who regrettably were obliged to discredit him). Joelle's contacts also informed her that they had a base in Australia, location not specified, where they liaised with a team of human scientists. Finally, one of my most reliable and well-connected sources has learned that a number of such bases exist worldwide, and that a limited liaison between extraterrestrials and our people was established in the late 1940s. Interestingly, the locations of two of these bases were given as somewhere in Alaska - and Pine Gap.

Continuing Contacts

On one occasion, Joelle said she was invited to inspect a spacecraft at close quarters. This turned out to be the same craft as the one she saw at a distance in September 1963. On this occasion, in the vicinity of the Welsh border, one of the scientists was being taken to a base in South America. Joelle told me she was poor at judging sizes, but estimated that the width of the landing legs was about three inches and that the inverted mushroom-shaped pads were possibly an inch or so wider. Apart from a series of round portholes, no further details of the craft could be discerned, as it was dark at the time. Also, the entry point was out of her view. She was not allowed to go aboard, though she did touch the hull, which later caused her to feel 'slightly ill'. Shortly afterwards, she and Rosamund drove up to the top of a nearby hill to watch the craft take off. With a sound as of a swarm of bees, it rose vertically, slowly at first, then shot off, illuminated, at an angle.
Joelle said she helped the visitors in a number of ways. Once, they asked her to translate a certain Russian manuscript at the British Museum. Also, on more than one occasion, she cooked meals for them at her London flat. Both Mark and Val had 'perfect manners', enjoyed drinking wine with their food, and had a great sense of humor. They stressed a desire to be treated normally. 'We may be thousands of years in advance of your people,' they said once, 'but please don't look on us as angels.'
Mark and Val did not rely on telepathy to communicate between themselves; they also spoke their own language. When communicating at a distance with the scientists, they used a type of radio system with prearranged 'secure' frequencies, using tiny radios strapped to their wrists. More sophisticated methods of communication could be used, as Joelle was to discover. Arriving back at her flat on one occasion, she was astonished to see Val standing in the living room. 'How on Earth did you get in?' she asked, as she went to greet him. 'Don't come near me - don't touch me!' he said. 'Just calm down. I'm not actually here.'
Val went on the explain that what she saw before her was a projected image, effected mentally between minds as a means of enhancing communication from a distance. 'Maybe it was, as he said, just a picture in my mind,' Joelle told me. After a short discussion and a farewell, the 'picture' simply faded out. This particular phenomenon has been reported in a number of contact cases, including that of Cynthia Appleton.

The Home Planet

On one occasion at her flat, by means of a certain technical device, Joelle said her friends projected for her some three-dimensional still images (similar to our holograms, though more realistic) of their home planet. Certain kinds of trees could be seen, as well as houses, mostly circular in shape though not all of identical design. Tubular-shaped vehicles, which traveled just above the ground, were shown. These could hold up to four people and were programmed to stop at certain points, unless otherwise desired. Animals shown included cows, similar to certain of our breeds, though smaller.
Joelle learned that weather on the home planet was not as drastically contrasted, neither were the seasons the same, as on Earth. The aliens did not eat as much as we do, and consumed a great deal more fish than mammal meat, which was seldom eaten. Fruits were plentiful, and a fermented drink similar to wine was produced.
No separate countries or governments existed, as such, though from what Joelle could gather, there was a type of 'council'. No social or racial divisions existed. Though there was no money, a system of 'credits' was used. One did not get something for nothing and everyone had to contribute to society in some way. Even those normally engaged in, for instance, scientific work, took their turn at performing more menial tasks. Couples restricted themselves to two children, who matured much earlier than do humans. There were no hospitals: injuries caused by accidents, for example, could be healed by sophisticated machines.
Music was enjoyed, though different from ours. Stringed (not bowed) instruments were mentioned. Val and Mark made a point of emphasizing how much they liked our music.
It was implied that travel between the visitors' solar system and ours was 'virtually instantaneous', Joelle told me, though they declined to give her any details as to how this was effected. In any case, she felt that she probably would have been unable to understand the modus operandi. They did explain, however, that certain differences in their planetary environment made it difficult for them to live on Earth without periodic 're-conditioning', a process similarly reported by some other contactees, such as Howard Menger. From what little Joelle was told about this, I infer that these difficulties related principally , perhaps not wholly, to atmospheric pressure and gravity. While Mark and Val were working here, it was necessary for them to undergo re-conditioning or 'decompression' about every four days, either in the spacecraft (including a giant carrier craft) or at their bases. They required no more than four hours of sleep at night.
The visitors pointed out to Joelle that, were she to visit their planet, 'you may not see us'. This could imply that they existed in another dimension or 'frequency', though Joelle was inclined to the view that our less well-developed physical senses, vis-a-vis our limited perception of the electromagnetic spectrum, would be responsible for this condition. She always emphasized to me that, in spite of their technical, mental and spiritual advancement, her extraterrestrial friends were physical beings, requiring physical sustenance and transport. She also had the impression that they were not necessarily dependent on planets, their carrier craft being completely self-sufficient.

The Home Office

In 1967, three years after the last of her meetings with Mark and Val, Joelle claimed to have received a visit from two representatives of the Home Office in London. The men began by asking questions relating to the 'disappearance' of Jack and Rosamund and some of the other scientists, who by this time were supposedly living 'elsewhere', perhaps at a base in South America. Joelle presumed the men had located her from one of the missing scientists' address books they found at his home. In any event, they were knowledgeable about the story. Joelle politely refused to answer certain questions. 'You don't really expect me to answer that, do you?' she would reply; a response which seemed to please the investigators.

A Spiritual Link

During the course of her meetings with Mark and Val, Joelle learned a great deal. She did not tell me everything, and on a few occasions I noticed that when she might have been on the point of a keen revelation, she suddenly stuttered to a halt. She believed that somehow she had been hypnotized to prevent her disclosing any sensitive information; a hypnotic block effected without recourse to any conventional induction method.
If Mark and Val were reluctant to discuss their origin and technology and the actual purpose of their mission, they were more forthcoming on other subjects of discussion. Generally, they explained once, they preferred to exert their formidable powers of telepathy when influencing humanity, though on occasions they had interfered directly. They would do so in future, for instance, in the event that a nuclear catastrophe threatened to destroy our planet - perhaps with severe consequences extending beyond it which might impinge on them. Other extraterrestrial beings were coming here, they said, who were not so well disposed towards us, though no further information was made available.
In addition to the visitors being responsible for genetically 'upgrading' the human race on two occasions in our distant past, it was alleged that a few of our great spiritual leaders, including Jesus, were genetically 'engineered' by a type of artificial insemination, in an attempt to instill Earth people with spiritual concepts. The reluctance of this particular group of extraterrestrials to communicate with humanity at large was due mainly to the fact that we are not psychologically or spiritually ready for contact with a higher civilization, and it is necessary for us to evolve independently. Essentially, Joelle was informed, we are spiritual beings, surviving beyond death.
For Joelle, the experiences with her friends remained a treasured and vivid memory for the rest of her life.
Seldom do we hear nowadays of encounters with spiritually advanced extraterrestrials. Have they left our planet for ever? Are they alive and well but engaged in less ambitious projects? In any event, I often wonder if a principal reason behind their presence here on Earth is related to the very survival of our planet - as an alien base.
'What a beautiful planet,' they once remarked to Joelle. 'Such a pity you're destroying it . . .'

The Road to Area 51

After decades of denying the facility's existence, five former insiders speak out
by Annie Jacobsen

Area 51. It's the most famous military institution in the world that doesn't officially exist. If it did, it would be found about 100 miles outside Las Vegas in Nevada's high desert, tucked between an Air Force base and an abandoned nuclear testing ground. Then again, maybe not— the U.S. government refuses to say. You can't drive anywhere close to it, and until recently, the airspace overhead was restricted—all the way to outer space. Any mention of Area 51 gets redacted from official documents, even those that have been declassified for decades.

It has become the holy grail for conspiracy theorists, with UFOlogists positing that the Pentagon reverse engineers flying saucers and keeps extraterrestrial beings stored in freezers. Urban legend has it that Area 51 is connected by underground tunnels and trains to other secret facilities around the country. In 2001, Katie Couric told Today Show audiences that 7 percent of Americans doubt the moon landing happened—that it was staged in the Nevada desert. Millions of X-Files fans believe the truth may be "out there," but more likely it's concealed inside Area 51's Strangelove-esque hangars—buildings that, though confirmed by Google Earth, the government refuses to acknowledge.

The problem is the myths of Area 51 are hard to dispute if no one can speak on the record about what actually happened there. Well, now, for the first time, someone is ready to talk—in fact, five men are, and their stories rival the most outrageous of rumors. Colonel Hugh "Slip" Slater, 87, was commander of the Area 51 base in the 1960s. Edward Lovick, 90, featured in "What Plane?" in LA's March issue, spent three decades radar testing some of the world's most famous aircraft (including the U-2, the A-12 OXCART and the F-117). Kenneth Collins, 80, a CIA experimental test pilot, was given the silver star. Thornton "T.D." Barnes, 72, was an Area 51 special-projects engineer. And Harry Martin, 77, was one of the men in charge of the base's half-million-gallon monthly supply of spy-plane fuels. Here are a few of their best stories—for the record:

On May 24, 1963, Collins flew out of Area 51's restricted airspace in a top-secret spy plane code-named OXCART, built by Lockheed Aircraft Corporation. He was flying over Utah when the aircraft pitched, flipped and headed toward a crash. He ejected into a field of weeds.

Almost 46 years later, in late fall of 2008, sitting in a coffee shop in the San Fernando Valley, Collins remembers that day with the kind of clarity the threat of a national security breach evokes: "Three guys came driving toward me in a pickup. I saw they had the aircraft canopy in the back. They offered to take me to my plane." Until that moment, no civilian without a top-secret security clearance had ever laid eyes on the airplane Collins was flying. "I told them not to go near the aircraft. I said it had a nuclear weapon on-board." The story fit right into the Cold War backdrop of the day, as many atomic tests took place in Nevada. Spooked, the men drove Collins to the local highway patrol. The CIA disguised the accident as involving a generic Air Force plane, the F-105, which is how the event is still listed in official records.

As for the guys who picked him up, they were tracked down and told to sign national security nondisclosures. As part of Collins' own debriefing, the CIA asked the decorated pilot to take truth serum. "They wanted to see if there was anything I'd for-gotten about the events leading up to the crash." The Sodium Pento-thal experience went without a hitch—except for the reaction of his wife, Jane.

"Late Sunday, three CIA agents brought me home. One drove my car; the other two carried me inside and laid me down on the couch. I was loopy from the drugs. They handed Jane the car keys and left without saying a word." The only conclusion she could draw was that her husband had gone out and gotten drunk. "Boy, was she mad," says Collins with a chuckle.

At the time of Collins' accident, CIA pilots had been flying spy planes in and out of Area 51 for eight years, with the express mission of providing the intelligence to prevent nuclear war. Aerial reconnaissance was a major part of the CIA's preemptive efforts, while the rest of America built bomb shelters and hoped for the best.

"It wasn't always called Area 51," says Lovick, the physicist who developed stealth technology. His boss, legendary aircraft designer Clarence L. "Kelly" Johnson, called the place Paradise Ranch to entice men to leave their families and "rough it" out in the Nevada desert in the name of science and the fight against the evil empire. "Test pilot Tony LeVier found the place by flying over it," says Lovick. "It was a lake bed called Groom Lake, selected for testing because it was flat and far from anything. It was kept secret because the CIA tested U-2s there."

When Frances Gary Powers was shot down over Sverdlovsk, Russia, in 1960, the U-2 program lost its cover. But the CIA already had Lovick and some 200 scientists, engineers and pilots working at Area 51 on the A-12 OXCART, which would outfox Soviet radar using height, stealth and speed.

Col. Slater was in the outfit of six pilots who flew OXCART missions during the Vietnam War. Over a Cuban meat and cheese sandwich at the Bahama Breeze restaurant off the Las Vegas Strip, he says, "I was recruited for the Area after working with the CIA's classified Black Cat Squadron, which flew U-2 missions over denied territory in Mainland China. After that, I was told, 'You should come out to Nevada and work on something interesting we're doing out there.' "

Even though Slater considers himself a fighter pilot at heart—he flew 84 missions in World War II—the opportunity to work at Area 51 was impossible to pass up. "When I learned about this Mach-3 aircraft called OXCART, it was completely intriguing to me—this idea of flying three times the speed of sound! No one knew a thing about the program. I asked my wife, Barbara, if she wanted to move to Las Vegas, and she said yes. And I said, 'You won't see me but on the weekends,' and she said, 'That's fine!' " At this recollection, Slater laughs heartily. Barbara, dining with us, laughs as well. The two, married for 63 years, are rarely apart today.

"We couldn't have told you any of this a year ago," Slater says. "Now we can't tell it to you fast enough." That is because in 2007, the CIA began declassifying the 50-year-old OXCART program. Today, there's a scramble for eyewitnesses to fill in the information gaps. Only a few of the original players are left. Two more of them join me and the Slaters for lunch: Barnes, formerly an Area 51 special-projects engineer, with his wife, Doris; and Martin, one of those overseeing the OXCART's specially mixed jet fuel (regular fuel explodes at extreme height, temperature and speed), with his wife, Mary. Because the men were sworn to secrecy for so many decades, their wives still get a kick out of hearing the secret tales.

Barnes was married at 17 (Doris was 16). To support his wife, he became an electronics wizard, buying broken television sets, fixing them up and reselling them for five times the original price. He went from living in bitter poverty on a Texas Panhandle ranch with no electricity to buying his new bride a dream home before he was old enough to vote. As a soldier in the Korean War, Barnes demonstrated an uncanny aptitude for radar and Nike missile systems, which made him a prime target for recruitment by the CIA—which indeed happened when he was 22. By 30, he was handling nuclear secrets.

"The agency located each guy at the top of a certain field and put us together for the programs at Area 51," says Barnes. As a security precaution, he couldn't reveal his birth name—he went by the moniker Thunder. Coworkers traveled in separate cars, helicopters and airplanes. Barnes and his group kept to themselves, even in the mess hall. "Our special-projects group was the most classified team since the Manhattan Project," he says.

Harry Martin's specialty was fuel. Handpicked by the CIA from the Air Force, he underwent rigorous psychological and physical tests to see if he was up for the job. When he passed, the CIA moved his family to Nevada. Because OXCART had to refuel frequently, the CIA kept supplies at secret facilities around the globe. Martin often traveled to these bases for quality-control checks. He tells of preparing for a top-secret mission from Area 51 to Thule, Greenland. "My wife took one look at me in these arctic boots and this big hooded coat, and she knew not to ask where I was going."

So, what of those urban legends—the UFOs studied in secret, the underground tunnels connecting clandestine facilities? For decades, the men at Area 51 thought they'd take their secrets to the grave. At the height of the Cold War, they cultivated anonymity while pursuing some of the country's most covert projects. Conspiracy theories were left to popular imagination. But in talking with Collins, Lovick, Slater, Barnes and Martin, it is clear that much of the folklore was spun from threads of fact.

As for the myths of reverse engineering of flying saucers, Barnes offers some insight: "We did reverse engineer a lot of foreign technology, including the Soviet MiG fighter jet out at the Area"—even though the MiG wasn't shaped like a flying saucer. As for the underground-tunnel talk, that, too, was born of truth. Barnes worked on a nuclear-rocket program called Project NERVA, inside underground chambers at Jackass Flats, in Area 51's backyard. "Three test-cell facilities were connected by railroad, but everything else was underground," he says.

And the quintessential Area 51 conspiracy—that the Pentagon keeps captured alien spacecraft there, which they fly around in restricted airspace? Turns out that one's pretty easy to debunk. The shape of OXCART was unprece-dented, with its wide, disk-like fuselage designed to carry vast quantities of fuel. Commercial pilots cruising over Nevada at dusk would look up and see the bottom of OXCART whiz by at 2,000-plus mph. The aircraft's tita-nium body, moving as fast as a bullet, would reflect the sun's rays in a way that could make anyone think, UFO.

In all, 2,850 OXCART test flights were flown out of Area 51 while Slater was in charge. "That's a lot of UFO sightings!" Slater adds. Commercial pilots would report them to the FAA, and "when they'd land in California, they'd be met by FBI agents who'd make them sign nondisclosure forms." But not everyone kept quiet, hence the birth of Area 51's UFO lore. The sightings incited uproar in Nevada and the surrounding areas and forced the Air Force to open Project BLUE BOOK to log each claim.

Since only a few Air Force officials were cleared for OXCART (even though it was a joint CIA/USAF project), many UFO sightings raised internal military alarms. Some generals believed the Russians might be sending stealth craft over American skies to incite paranoia and create widespread panic of alien invasion. Today, BLUE BOOK findings are housed in 37 cubic feet of case files at the National Archives—74,000 pages of reports. A keyword search brings up no mention of the top-secret OXCART or Area 51.

Project BLUE BOOK was shut down in 1969—more than a year after OXCART was retired. But what continues at America's most clandestine military facility could take another 40 years to disclose.

JACKIE

FROM Jackie:
October 1998

Dear J___:

I have seen these Nordic Beings during psychic readings an the "link" to certain human beings. I have also seen the "Praying Mantis" beings (very loving and slow moving). The Nordic beings have fascinated me for quite some time. They are of such a high level and I have been unable to identify where they are from (possibly Andromeda). I am just not certain, however, they have allowed me to see them and understand the connection to others. You, of course, should be aware and probably are, that you have access to information that others do not, as yet. If you use this, you need only request an answer to something, call them in, and the answer will be given within a short period of time (usually immediately or within 24 hours). Some are given it in metaphor (outside of themselves) and others are given it directly, telepathically.

I even have been with someone that is a hybrid of these beings. It took me a while to "see" it. She is a psychologist and very involved in UFO's etc and the CSETI. She wrote a book about connecting with ET's and I have a copy of the original draft. I finally told her about her hybrid heritage and she didn't even hear it come from me but from someone else in the room. Very strange.

I should explain that when these things come through, it is as if someone has grabbed me by the throat and is squeezing the words out. I seem not to have a whole lot of control over what is being said. Telling this poor woman that her father was not her father in a group of people certainly was not the most appropriate thing that I have ever done. Again, it was as if I couldn't control the words. They just spewed out of my mouth.

What was so fascinating was that she had asked me to read her a few weeks earlier at a meditation group and I couldn't get anything except two stone walls (mountains). The night that this happened I was sitting at her side and it was as though her eyes were lenses and everything that she experienced was being recorded or transmitted to these same Nordic beings. I really am not a nut but have had my own UFO experiences and my son was on George Knapp's two hour special (national TV) with his experiences. You already know that though. Blessings to you for the work you are doing.

UFO RADIO CONTACT?

By Johnny S.

I have always wondered if there are UFO's and they seek to contact some people why there are no reports from ham radio operator's making radio contact with all the different frequencies we use. In addition there are so many modes of operation including moon bounce and it seems logical that there would have been some radio encounters over the many years the World's public has been following UFO's and their encounters!

Perhaps it's just because I have not heard of them and am out of the loop of information, or perhaps there just has not been any encounters.....I don't know but an inquiring mind is asking have we ham radio operators had any encounters? Now it may just be a concern or fear that our fellow ham's will think us nuts if we say anything and if this is the case fear not for if there is one person with a story there will be many more who will come to support your story. Sooooo I am asking do you have a story to tell? No one on this blog will laugh at you or think your nuts so get bold and post my fellow ham's 73 Johnny KD5LWU

TITAN
by Chad Johnson

This OOTB sequence began as they usually do, when I laid down to sleep. I looked up at the ceiling to clear the analyzer in preparation for the sleep cycle. The room was dark of course, and I closed my eyes to begin the meditation which would allow me a good nights rest.

Without warning a symbol appeared on the inner-vision screen. It was a darkened silhouette of an oblate spheroid super imposed on an elliptical band. I felt a brief moment of panic. I reacted by efforting to suppress the symbol! Uh! Oh! That was a mistake.

The attempt to suppress only served to cause me to become equal to the vibration of the symbol and Lo!... I found myself out in interstellar space gazing at the planet Saturn which hummed musically in the upper right hand grid of my perception.

I could sense the presence of life all around me and in a way I could not quite comprehend. I could see all around the center of my attention-focus viewing several of Saturn's satellites.

The illusion was perfect. The rings seemed to spin at an enormous rate of speed and the colors were vibrant.

The planet began to recede slowly and I turned my attention one hundred and eighty degrees and beheld a large yellowish-orange sphere with a grayish undercast which gave the ball a slightly jaundiced appearance, a dull yellow-orange.

I thought: TITAN!! And in a wink... I was on its surface looking up at Saturn which filled the sky with its awesome presence.

At this point in linear time I had the sensation of occupying a limited focus of awareness which suggested a physical body which now impinged in my matrix. Being extremely curious I focused on it and finding no evidence of entrapment decided to play the dream out to discover what I could learn from it.

At that moment the dream became physical reality and after getting used to the body I looked around to see where I had located. As a physical identity I found myself in a small village inside a huge crystalline dome made up of geodesic panels of transparent material held together by a lattice work grid of metallic curved ribs interlocking at regularly space intervals to hold the panes. The dome enclosed an area of approximately twenty acres of flat landscape with some low rolling hills. The topography covered with green vegetation of grass, stunted bushes and some small trees which resembled fruit bearing trees I had seen on Earth.

I turned slowly to view the village which was a rather ordinary grouping of domed Quonset huts, non-descript sheds, some larger administrative buildings - also domed, and several large hangars which were semi-cylindrical. The usual roads and paths gave some semblance or order to the village but it looked very much like a temporary construction site or base on Earth; although the houses looked more aesthetic. They appeared to be double-wide trailers simple in design and unadorned.

While I stood taking all this in a sweet voice sounded behind me. I turned around to face the source and beheld a young woman of average height, slender of build with a narrow face, slightly pointed chin, high cheekbones nearly unbalanced the face but instead gave it a strange triangular, alien appearance. The effect was distracting but not unpleasant.

As she spoke I was transfixed by her eyes, so large and blue and all the standard glitches seemed to apply as I flowed into her space and lost identity. If time isn't a measurable constant in six-dimensional reality then let it suffice to say that we bi-located instantly into a dwelling. We stood embodied in a large crowded living room filled with men, women and children who looked like average human beings one would find anywhere on earth, except they were uniformly blond, Caucasian and glowing.

Some were wearing work clothes, some were wearing silvery looking metallic jump-suits but for the most part the majority were informally attired in street clothes which could have been manufactured on Earth.

I was engaged in a monologue with a tall, wiry gentleman with medium length white hair and metallic blue eyes. I was discoursing at length on a meta-physical subject with which I had been involved on Earth and had found someone who was a willing understanding listener. I was amazed at my own grasp of this subject for in truth I had been a rather mediocre student of it. His face was somewhat hawk-like and I felt a bit distracted by the intensity of the attention he was giving to me. From time to time he would acknowledge or interject comments and after a time another comely young woman came up and whispered to him, smiled warmly at me, and excused themselves. I wandered about for awhile sipping from a tumbler of fruit juice, answering questions, nodding and saying hellos but couldn't keep up with most of the conversations which were highly technical or metaphysical concepts which were beyond me in conceptual understanding.

I meandered over to a picture window and looked at a play area outside and also noticed the base of the dome. As I gazed up at Saturn the first girl whom I had encountered came up and touched my shoulder and said: "If you elect to go wandering around outside the dome then beware that old invader electronic spirit-traps abound throughout this system and if you get stuck on one it could destroy your physical body."

"I un-understand. I'm just going into the yard to watch the stars. It's so clear out here and they're so beautiful." A sinking feeling of dread and despair descended into my consciousness as I thought of having to leave here soon.

The girl, whose name escapes me or perhaps they don't use names, told me that her race was wandering in space for a long time having lost their planet in a catastrophe. That they wanted to settle on Earth but were stopped by a large space force who called themselves The guardians who told them the planet was quarantined and that landings on Earth were forbidden due to the inevitability of future cataclysms, natural and man-made.

So while telephoto probes were sent forth to evaluate they waited. I was or still am one of them, one among several thousand of them down here in human bodies and we are sending them data about this civilization so they determine if it's possible for them to creatively interact with us. Except I got screwed and forgot my mission.

The girl wished me well and assured that some day I would return upon bodily death to this group, my group where I would once again return home to stay. She urged me to study and learn all I could about the human spirit as well as the racial history of man.

I went outside, my heart aching with a longing to return home to stay. I turned to gaze up at Saturn oscillating in its awesome beauty, stunned by its enormity and the loudness of its chorus, a billion angels singing and playing the Harps of Space in exquisite harmonies while the great rings punctuate with their eternal rhythms.

At that moment I cognated that the entire Universe was truly alive and Saturn was an aggregate living God of Light and I was about to uncover the Secret of the Universe in its utter simplicity.

....And I awoke. And I knew the secret is there are no secrets except that I chose to forget that I am , myself, a God and couldn't even remember that I could remember or even that I chose to forget.

Was it real? Or was it... Memorex? Bashar tells us that our dreams are actuality - the ultimate reality and that life on Earth is nothing more than... a bad dream. I am learning to wake up and dream. And lately have begun while I'm awake to dream ecstatic dreams. Have begun my long journeys home to the Light!
